Post subject:  Awkward K-close

Was gaming this chick for a few weeks. Shes really into me, could definitely f-close in the right spot.

Went out last night with her to a lake, chilled outside talking/flirting for a few hours. Took her home and walked her to her door. I went in for a hug ( was going to kiss her after) She went in for a kiss and instead kissed my cheek. I then pulled back a little and kissed her, but we were completely out of sync, I go in closed mouth gentle and she goes in open mouth, every kiss was off. Get like 3 or 4 kisses none of them were really good. I didn't say a word about it then left. Totally unlike me, usually things are smooth as butter.

Probably way over thinking this, but does a shitty/awkward first kiss ruin any chances of further escalation in the future? Basically did I fuck it up?

Awkward kisses happen, it's just part of the game. If it ever happens to you again, recognize how awkward it is, laugh about it together, and then take control of the situation and try again with confidence.

You shouldn't have any problems continuing on with her. Keep escalating and rolling off and you'll be right back to kissing in no time.

The only part of this that concerns me is that you're just now kissing her after gaming for a few weeks. I've told every guy I've coached in the past what I'm about to tell you,

You need to escalate more aggressively and get a kiss very early on in your interaction with a girl. Getting it out of the way eases pressure on yourself and motivates her. If you're hanging out with a girl and not kissing her, she either thinks that you aren't attracted to her, that you aren't confident enough to lead, or worse yet, she'll backwards rationalize it telling herself that she must not have kissed you because she wasn't attracted to you. Get some IOI's and then go in for the kiss. Period.

Thanks man, I've been taking it easy because I work with her. Probably no excuse, but had some resistance the last time we hung out and I tried to kiss her.

Although I agree with most of what doclift said I dont agree with the awkward kisses... I never have awkward kisses. You should be escalating with enough kino that it leads to the kiss and it wont be awkward.
BUT Doclift does say you should be getting the kiss early on in your interaction DO IT if the girl wants to kiss you and you do not kiss her you are creating discomfort in her. So grow some balls and go for it. If she denies you, play it off.

Personally when kissing I will let the girl 'lead' the pace/aggression of it for the first few seconds or so, so I can guage the best way to continue. Have been told by loads of girls I'm a really good kisser, I think this is why, I get a staple for the kind of kisser they are then adapt to compliment that.

I'm going to have to listen to you doclift about kissing sooner. I tend to put it off too long and the attraction dies. I'm pretty good at getting attraction but weak on acting on it.

Ever since my first kiss I do what you do musterion. My first ever was awkward. I finally went for a peck after a month then the make out after two. Every girl since her has commented on how great of a kisser I am. First couple seconds I'll be passive to get a feel on how she's going to do it. Then I match and compliment her style.
