So just to clarify the text you sent her, did you send it in such a way as "Sorry I haven't text you today, I've been busy" if this is the case that could come across in a bad light for you. You don't need to explain why you haven't text her, she feel the need to explain why she hasn't text you, so you shouldn't either.
If that is indeed the case you should detach yourself a little and make yourself the prize again, get into a short text convo about something and at some point just leave her hanging for a couple of hours (maybe even a day) just to show that she isn't eating up all your free time through texting, you're your own man and have your own life.
As for seeing her again, I reckon just go for the old standard way of getting a day 2 (or day 4 or whatever in your case) "I'm going to *** later on, you can tag along if you like" Personally I prefer to do this over the phone rather than by text, makes this a bit more personal. Do this after you've reduced your neediness mind, you might not have to but it'll increases your chances.
