First of all, I am a 24 year old total afc. I have only kissed one girl, two if you count a girl kissing me. I went out to the bar with a couple of my sisters girlfriends and got one of their phone numbers. She and I meet for drinks on valentines day. She mentioned she had to wake up at 5am to go to the gym but we stayed out to 12:30. So I'm thinking she is into me. I thought it went well so I didn't try to kiss her(just a hug).(followed Dating Dictionary "The System") I text her about every other day. She always responds and we have conversations, but she never initiates. I call her this past Monday to set up a date for Tuesday. She says she is busy, but immediately offers Thursday. I continue to text her. We have good banter but she still doesn't initiate. I thought our date tonight was going well. We walk out to her car, and I go for the kiss. Before I can get my left hand to her neck she goes for a hug. We end up in a weird position with my hand trapped between us. She says "I'm sure I'll see you soon" or something like that(We hang out with the same group of friends). I wasn't sure because my mind had not processed the thought of WTF just happened. I spit out an awkward "yeah" and head towards my car. I like her. She has a sarcastic sense of humor just like me. She is a HB7. She is an out going nerd, she used to play WOW in college but doesn't anymore and she really likes sports. I want to call her tomorrow and tell her something along the lines of "I like you, and if you don't like me that's cool" in an attempt to figure out how she feels and minimize the awkwardness to come from hanging out with the same group. tell her I like her or LJBF her and move on thoughts? |

Go for the kiss in the middle of the date. At least then if it doesn't work, you have time to try again. If the hug was intimate, like she pressed her hips into yours, then she will probably give you a 3rd date. Try again within the next week, but not tomorrow or the day after. |
