| Post subject: | Mimicking my texts? |
I'll skip everything from meeting her (daytime + mass DHVing her), to the bit where I text her, and she responds in similar fashion (short sharp concise and not needy). She doesn't seem to be flirty, cocky or playful, and tries to follow my texts which come across as not needy etc. I started to increase the delay with my response times and she did the same to match me. I sent her a final message not intending any reply, but she ends up sending one anyway, a day later as well. She kept the slow messaging up over a space of 1-2 weeks, with the intention of meeting up after exams. Why is she mimicking my sms behaviour? Is she trying to be subtle about expressing keen interest, or is she genuinely not too bothered by me? Not looking for any specific advice here. Just want some thoughts or opinions regarding that behaviour. Cheers. |

perhaps she has not been flirty, cocky or playful because you havent been with her. if you initiate that kind of talk and if she likes it she will reciprocate. it's hard to make a solid opinion without seeing the actual messages. but with my experience i have found that when a girl is really getting into me and enjoying the messaging back and forth, the time difference between you sending the text and her responses gradually decreases. its hard to say if there is any keen interest. |

Perhaps she's a little unsure. People tend to mimic those they like. Try building her up by replying a little quicker to her texts and add a bit of subtle flirting. If she replies quicker then a good sign she's into you. |
