Got a girl hooked through successful game at the bar last weekend...turns out I know her friend through work and she mentioned that the girl was way into me etc...take this info and try to close Texted her to make plans and she was pretty well in...followed up later to close, and never heard back Where did I go wrong here? Thanks Update: Met her at bar...talked about variety of things..including our shared interest of golf and she mentioned a beach trip for a few days with fam. Convo: Me:How was the beach trip? Her:Good! Actually on my way home. Me:I hate the part where you go home from vacation. What you got planned tomorrow afternoon? Her:Yeah its depressing and not sure, you? Me:Might have to do some things, but if not, I'm off until the evening so we can grab some food or I can whip something up. Her:Possibly, I may have to work. Me:I'll let you know then how my schedule is. Several hours later, I followed up: Me:My schedules clear for the afternoon No response |

You're going to have to be more specific, and disclose what messages the two of you exchanged. It's going to be almost impossible to help you if we don't know what you said to her. |

How long has it been since you texted her? Your problem here is that you didn't give her a hook. By saying "My schedule is clear for the afternoon" you put the pressure on her to have to be the one who says "great, let's do something then," which girls don't want to have to do. As the man, it is your job to make the plans and tell her what you will be doing, where you will be going, how you will be getting there, and at what time. Instead of saying "My schedule is clear for the afternoon," you could have said something like "My schedule is clear for the afternoon and I've got a craving for a vanilla chai latte. Let's hit up Starbucks and get our caffeine fix." That has a plan of action involved and gives her something to grab onto. If it has only been a couple of hours without a response, then just relax. You took several hours to respond to her, so she is going to do the same. If you don't hear from her, then just wait a couple of days and shoot her a playful, fun, flirty text. Never text a girl "How are you?" or "How was your day?" or anything like that. It's boring and doesn't spark any emotion. |

Thanks, and it was actually yesterday that this convo took place.Your problem here is that you didn't give her a hook. Haven't talked to her today...I figured I would incorporate some freezing out. What kind of openers do you suggest for text game for the future? |
