| Post subject: | Phone Failure |
This is my first post, so hopefully this is the right place on the forum. Basically, I got a girl's number last night, things we're going well, then I started to get drunk with the girl and made plans to hangout today. I slept in, called her a little late and she answered but wasn't talking, sounded like she was in a meeting or something. So I went off to the gym and tried calling 2 hours or so later. This violates the rule of not calling a girl the next day (twice), but I didn't want it to seem like I was flaking on her so I tried calling. Anyway, I left an unconfident sounding message, awkwardly joking about missing breakfast, then saying i'll call her or she can call me. It was super lame. Question: Do I leave the ball in her court to call me back at some point? Do I send a text message to her? How long should I wait before taking action? What do you guys recommend I do? PS: I learned a lesson the hard way last week sending a super lame text message to a girl after I got pretty drunk, then calling the next day, and rightfully so, not getting a reply. I kind of vowed not to mess with texting the girl the same night or not texting period, I think the phone is much better. |

Stop drinking if it will hamper your game. Wait a week or two before you re-initiate. |
