Today I decided to call a chick I number closed the day before just because I needed to go shopping for a party tomorrow which I just found out she's going to as well and I had no one to go with because everyone else is busy. So I texted her and she responded positively so we talked for awhile in texts but after a while I thought I should close it so I said: "Okay but if i tell you then you have to promise to stop texting me. my battery's running low:P Let's continue this convo tomorrow." Then she responded with: "Oh plz as if i'm dying to talk to you.. you knowwhat i don't even want to know..Conversation over cause that was a little rude don't you think. bye." I didn't want to come off as a jerk but I still wanted to be cocky so I thought I should end it in that way. Should I never say something like this or is it maybe because I didn't establish any kino with her? I completely didn't expect a response like that because we talked so much the other day. so I responded with: "Now who's being rude haha. I'm actually being serious though. My battery was low, just got home now so it's fine. I was going to tell you I hadn't had a chance to meet much law students because it's my first sem here but I find it much more endearing to speak to someone in real life. Besides if we talk as much on here as we did in our first meeting you're gona bankrupt me:P" She hasn't since replied and honestly I don't really care that much except that I want to improve my game and want to learn what I should have/should say. Is there something I can say to break the tension because I don't want it to be awkward if we see eachother at the party especially since I wan't her to act like a mutual friend for further gaming. At the same time though I don't want to be a jerk to women so I'd like to just remove any negative feelings for her. |

As for the line you used to end the conversation, I think it was fine. She just misinterpreted the tone. But since I don't know the dynamics of your conversation prior to that, then I can't really tell you for sure if it was the wrong thing to say. Just be careful with sarcastic or neg-like comments in texts. They work marvelously in the field, but sometimes it's hard for people to decipher the message how you intended it. Now for what to do if you encounter her in person again: Don't mention the conversation you had. Just act like it never happened. If she mentions it or acts like a cunt toward you, explain that you didn't intend for the message to be interpreted that way. But don't apologize because that would make her think that you're willing to "jump through her hoops," and that is contrary to the principle of DQ. Also don't use a cocky&funny routine. Still be confident but lower the level of cockiness, so you can re-establish relations with her. |

Wow she must have had a shitty day or something, I thought it was a wonderful conversation close! I usually use lots of winky faces and silly faces to show playfulness but you did so i dont know why she responded that way! Dont txt her again though if she doesnt respond forget her. Wait till you see her in person and game her normally, like the above said dont mention the convo and dont apologize! It seems like you know what your doing! GL and happy Gaming! |
