Post subject:  Mixed Signals, All Advice Welcomed

Just getting back into the game after a long term relationship, have been running approach anxiety seminars while in the relationship, and now being single again, as you can imagine, I feel a bit rusty.

However, I stumbled the other night during some very progressive text game, and I'm wondering what I could do to avoid the same result, result being I don't get laid.

I jokingly convinced this girl that I was on the run from the "study police", relevant to the fact that both of us should be studying but aren't (good old university...) and the shirtless police (I was topless the first time we met, long story...) and she "agreed to let me hide out at hers".

She conveyed the whole time that she was going to "hide me under her stairs" etc etc, yet the last message she sent was:

"Haha, of course! i'm pretty good at hiding things! Anyway i'm gonna hit the hay now, have a gd night xo"

Where was this transition from going to hers, to going to bed?

Would the time have been a factor? She'd just finished netball? ASD was up? Not interested?

If you think posting the whole conversation would help give a better indicator, I'd be glad to. I'm really not sure what I did wrong, I was thinking along the lines of: it was late on a sunday night, she was tired from sport, probably lives with her parents so random guys coming over might not be cool.

Am I that rusty? All advice is welcomed :)

Yeah she was probably just tired/lives with her parents. And just cause you didn't get laid that night doesn't mean you won't with her in the future (I'm sure you know this). You don't know the mental state that the other person is in, and it takes two to tango. Not your fault.
