Hey guys been sort of seeing this girl for a month or so now but Im having a bit of a problem setting up a one on one date up to now it's just been bars and clubs with all our friends, I think she's shy or something, and is also trying to play hard to get I think
I have no doubts she's interested (she's asked me to her prom, to which I said I'll give her my answer when she comes on a date with me and asks me sober) were always making out and stuff and her 2 best friends love me which is always a good thing haha
So anyway last Saturday we were at a club(both of us sober for first time) everything was great and when we were leaving I told her I was gonna txt her the next day to ask her out somewhere during the week (she was visibly excited when i said this) and kissed her goodbye and hugged her friends goodbye
Next day I texted her late that evening after work:
Me:im free for the next 3 days which of them suits you for me to take you out?
xHer: hey
I can't tomorrow because it's my moms birthday so were all going out for dinner but I'll let you know tomorrow if tues or wed suits k? x (obv playing hard to get keeping me waiting for an answer)Me:cool I'll tty then x
She didn't txt me the next day, but texted me the day after
Her:hey what's up? Do much today?
xMe:(whatever I did,made it sound awesome) what bout you? X
Her:(whatever she did) btw I can't come out tomorrow because blah blah but maybe Thursday?
xMe:eh ye I'd say I can do thurs, would have to be quite late though after I finish work x
Her: ok cool I'll text you tomorrow and let you know if I can
(more small talk for a bit about if I'm going out on the weekend and she's going out Friday blah blah) xShe didn't txt me the next day so when I finished work I texted if we were on for tonight and she said she "can't her sis asked her to look after her kids
sorry xxx"I didn't bother replying and just went out with friends. I wanna ask her out for tonight but if I do I have a feeling that looks needy
Should I just not text her until she texts me? Or because I didnt reply to her last text is it ok to text her first and ask her out after some flirty crap? I really like this girl but she's either shy, playing hard to get, or both
Advice? And sorry for the long post
