I went out on the town with a group of friends about 6 weeks ago and met a lovely Mauritian girl. We were talking for most of the night and I told her a few funny stories which got her laughing and I managed to get her number. Everything was going well until I began to drink too much and that kinda ruined things a bit. Anyway she said she would be up for a night of Salsa. Ever since that night I have text her a few times and called a couple of times to try to arrange a date but haven't managed to get anywhere. Some of the texts she hasn't replied to but talking on the phone she seems jolly and keeps saying maybe sometime next week we can meet up. She did invite me to her house party so I thought that was progress but then she said it was called off. She is a student and has a lot of study to do by the sound of it so I have to be worthy of her time. I also bumped into her in the street once after that night out and really messed things up through being nervous. I could have gone for a coffee there and then. So I'm not really getting anywhere with this but would like to because I've liked her more than the other girls I've met recently. Any help would be appreciated to sort my game out. I've been out of practice after being in a relationship for a couple of years. |

man if u want to become a pua dont get down about 1 certain girl. as it has been sed start studying then practising the study comes first and in a few months u wont even remember wot LJBF means. i have. |

Well I'm reading the Game at the moment so that will do for now. I'm not getting caught up with one girl, I just happen to think she's hot and would like to persist. I'm certainly keeping my options open though. It's also helping keep my mind off my ex-girlfriend and at least good practice for talking to women. I get the feeling she's seeing someone at the moment cos she keeps making excuses but says we will eventually go for a drink. I'm not hassling her, just calling once in a while. |

to ryt youve messed it up,lol. you never get drunk when in the game. you do it on a lads nyt out. obviously that was your last mistake. the thing that made it WORSE was that you are always calling her an texting her, you do that a couple of times, but it sounds like youve done it loads and youve come across so despreate, everytime she keeps turning you down. you have DLVed yourself sooo much!!! by constatntly trying to get in touch. Yes you blue it Diagnosis: forget about it and move on. if you didnt constantly call her you cud have started agen when you bumped into her, then at least the SPAM wud be a lot clearer. Count your loses an move onto the next girl Trust me, i have herd the main excuses and i have a lot of uni work to do is one of them, SHE IS lying to you, but so she doesnt hurt you, thats all. think of it logically if you dont beleieve me, a uni student of all people parties more than anyone, and she cant find a nyt out with you cuz of work, think about it |

Talking on the phone isnt too great either unless you're already in a relationship. Try to interact with her in person as much as possible. Its easier to show you want to be more than friends. |

Thanks for the advice people. I sent her once last text saying it was her last chance and then deleted her number. She didn't reply but I felt good about doing that. I've also learned that texting isn't really the way. |

Yeah, when you offer someone a date and they respond with a "maybe sometime" they usually mean "I would rather not." At least this time you've learned your lesson about drinking a little too much and shooting yourself in the foot. But I would have to agree with a lot of the other guys when they say you shouldn't get wrapped up around one girl so easily. As Mystery once said in reference to that "This is NOT how this game is run." |
