Well, one of my favorite lines is straight up calling them a mess. For example, she'll say she messed up on something, has a small problem, and I throw my hands in the air/roll my eyes and say "god your a mess" while smiling or winking. Most of the time, they either laugh or say something like, "no! you're a mess!" or "I am not!" Though sometimes, I get in a sarcastic tone, "yea I'm a mess." Or something to that extent. I never can exactly think of something witty or CF to respond with. Any ideas? |

Women and sarcasm? In the same sentence? Are you serious? If she says "Yeah I'm a mess", she probably means exactly what she says... Women's sense of homour is crap... I mean, they understand humour (sometimes), but they generally are not very good in creating it. Except unintentionally. Women's purpose in life is not to make men laugh. It's vice versa. |

I dont know what kinda women you sarge or where, but in London sarcasm is like a standard HB responce to shit/AFC pick up attempt! Most of the best one-liners i hear are from HBs! Even Style admits to using lines that HBs use on guys, so thinking like that WON'T improve your game Either way i run into sarcasm a lot when i approach confident/cocky girls, its like a shit test(still throws me off for a second) but my best response is to turn her sarcastic comment into a confession and say something like "Hey, dont dwell on it darling, i wont hold it against you" *with a smile* and change the topic! I'm all ears for more responses- sarcasm can be tricky to turn around |

I'd change it from "good girl" to "nice girl". Sarcasm doesn't have anything to do with good or bad, but it is often considered not "nice".

Surely there are exceptions, but in general, girls are not very "sarcastic" compared to men... And I'm sure you agree, that most of the time you have to be pretty "careful" of what kind of playful or sarcastic comments you make to women, even if the woman is a longtime friend... Women's sense of humour and sarcasm just isn't on par with men usually. But on the other hand, higher IQ persons in general have a little bit different sense of humour than lower IQ persons... So maybe that is part of the reason why "connecting" with women isn't always as natural as with (intelligent) men. This is just my experience... But after ~100 laid women I'm yet to meet a lady with equal sense of humour with me. Or even close. |

I've met a few. I'm currently working on getting with anywhere from 1-3 bisexual girls that are friends with one of my roomates. Those girls are SARCASTIC! Like holy shit they give me a run for my money and I've been doing it for years because it is a prerequisite for living through childhood in my family. Some of the only girls that have ever been able to put me at a loss for words and it is such a turn on. I want a girl that is my equal in terms of intellectual abilities and can spar with me.And I'm sure you agree, that most of the time you have to be pretty "careful" of what kind of playful or sarcastic comments you make to women, even if the woman is a longtime friend... They get hit on so much because they are the HOT lesbians, that every guy wants to fuck, so they develope the best sarcastic, wry sense of humour. |

What about girls that actually understand your sarcasm? How do you respond to that? |

Depends on whether they respond positively or negatively. If they don't like it, then tone it back some, because pissing them off gets you no where, just make sure it doesn't look like you're just gonna bend to their will. If they respond in kind, then you just keep going as long as you can and see who has a better wit. Sarcasm can be good foreplay in my experience.

change the subject. having a smart ass thing to say in response to everything gives off an extremely annoying vibe. you did your 'you're a mess' thing, if she laughed then great, now move on with the conversation, don't look like you're trying to ride on the fact that she laughed.if she didn't laugh or got negative about it, even more of a reason to just change the subject. i would venture a guess that if i would say "cut the thread" instead of "change the subject" that may sound more convincing being a versatile man with a lot of subjects to talk about is much more attractive than being a guy with a smart ass response to everything. gigi PUA Ratings |
