Post subject:  Constructing a DHV spiked story (check it out!)
So I've been trying to create cool DHV spiked stories and have come up with one I think is really great.

Keep in mind when I tell it I do change it up, make it smaller or appreciate based on how comfortable I am with the person listening.

A pretty crazy thing happend to me a few months ago. I was invited to my friends wedding in fresno. I was close friends with the guy behind the bar and saw this short asian girl, about 22 or so, getting hit on by this creep.

(Friends with bar guy [social proof])

I could see she was not into it and it was hard to watch, so I walk in and put my arm around her and say “Hey babe, i was looking all over for you” - She firtst was shocked but played along.

(Protector, confident)

After the guy left I walked off back to my friend, she grabbed me and said “Thank you so much” - I was like “no problem” and walked away.

(DHV lack of needyness)

She later asked if I could pretend to be her boyfriend the entire wedding, she was a really cute girl and I guess was being hit on all night by drunk guys. I said why not and had my arm around her the entire wedding. The only thing I regret is not sending her an invoice!
I've told this story a few times, and the group is often surprised on what happend with her, I will usally say

"She called a few times asking if I would drive to fresno to see her, dont get me wrong she was stunning, but long distance relationships are not my thing, especially with these gas prices lol"
I think this really demonstrates high value since I give the appearance of a guy who is so high value that a pretty girl isnt enough to get me excited, that I am not needy and just ballar status.


What do you guys think? I'll be posting more DHV stories soon

Im new to the PUA communiity. Im looking for some good DHVs stories and i think this is a good one. i will definately try this one on the field to see how it works.

lol jk, yeah its good, as long as you can lead a conversation to allow you to tell it normally, but then as you say you modify it when the time comes,

only bit i may change is "she was stunning but im not into long distance relationships" it all depends on your delivery i guess but at this point its almost like bragging, could be seen that way by a girl

i like to remember it doesnt have to be a story per say as long as you get the DHV point across. For example you could have a discussion about relationships and then dhv "yeah my ex was always getting hit on by other guys.." or w.e,

Like mantis said, whilst i do think DHV stories are great, theres always the risk of being seen as lying/bragging..

but yeah good story might have to steal it ;)
