Post subject:  Approaching girl in the pharmacy
Hello guys,

I went to a drugstore to help a friend buying floss. While comparing two the dental floss a cashier came to ask us with we needed help. I did not even pay much attention to her and only said we were OK.

Afterwards we went to the cash register to pay for the floss and my friend started asking her about another product he was looking for. While they were talking I realized how cute the cashier was, really, I would rate her 9/10. My friend tells me he would give her 7/10.

I noticed that it was a mistake not to realize how cute she was when she came asking if we needed help at the beginning. At that moment it might have been easier to game her.


I did not know what to do, really. What should I do to approach her at the cash register? And what could I have done the first time she came to us asking if we needed help?

PS: I'm thinking about going to that pharmacy again... :) !!

If you're pressed for time because you're AT the register and she will probably have other customers soon, then you can just go direct. Just telling her that she's cute etc. and then getting a quick number close.

If you had decided to talk to her the first time, you could have just chatted with her, teased her a little bit and then done a statement of intent (i.e. basically TELLING her that you are hitting on her). You would need to do this, because in most situations (unless there are like NO other customers in the store) you would still be pressed for time a little bit, cuz she would need to get back to work relatively soon.

Let me see if I got this right! :)

At the Register (I need to keep it quiet so that the other workers do not think she is slacking off, and maybe she would not feel comfortable):
ME: This floss is really long, 50 m, how long do you think it lasts?
HER: I don't know, maybe one month. (I'm trying to guess what she would say)
ME: To tell you the truth I came to this drugstore because I think you are cute. I study here in CITY_NAME and if you write down your phone # on the receipt we could hang out.

I cannot predict what she would say next!!!! Maybe she would laugh at me and tell the others, in their native language, that I am hitting on her! I do not speak the language of the country where I am living, but people here speak English.

If she comes to ask if I need help:

ME: This floss is really long, 50 m, how long do you think it lasts?
HER: I don't know, maybe one month. (I'm trying to guess what she would say)
ME: I'm not sure if I buy the 50 m or the 25 m long one...
HER: The longer one is cheaper. (I'm guessing what she would say).
ME: Thanks for your help!. :) You saved my day! Give me your phone # so that we can hang out.
HER: I cannot do that. [embarrassed]
ME: OK, I'm buying this 50 m floss.
ME(we are now at the register, if he is the one that comes to the register with me): So, still don't want to hang out?
HER: NO.
ME: OK. :) Bye!


Alternative dialogue:
ME: Do you have XXXL condoms?
HER: [laughs] I don't think so.
ME: Wanna hang out with me?
HER: No, sorry.

Do you really think this XXXL condom line would work? How do I make it work?


Do you think those lines are good ones to use? Even though I do not see chances of success with them, I cannot think of anything that could be more effective!


What do you guys think about my openings?

Be direct and just say, "Do you have any XXXL condoms...(wait for her to laugh)...just kidding I bought some last week, I just wanted to get your number."

This is ballsy, but I could definitely see it working.

Could definitely work. What I WOULD have done (not sure if you should try for that girl, may just be a lost opportunity) when she asked if I needed help would be "What, are you a floss expert?" from there you could jump into the old floss opener (floss before or after brushing) or attempt a cold read "I can tell you'd make a good dentist, something about your teeth just screams OCD clean" (that kind of works as a neg too).

If I had also missed that opportunity, when I saw her at the register I would have gone direct, asked if we picked the right floss, or just opened as though I hadn't really noticed her earlier.

Wow! Excellent post on how we should be approaching girl in the pharmacy for cialis générique. I really hope you can find and meet your girl soon though, much appreciate this post over here, keep me updated.
