Set up with a Wing.
Set a key word, I use a woman's name (Gina)
Ask your target To think of any card she want's.. ask her to tell you what it is... then pretend that's the trick eg:
"See I knew you would pick that card! isn't this an amazing trick?"
you will get some laughs, once it starts calming down (and the group generally think's you're a joke) appologize for ruining the trick, tell them you feel so bad about it that you'll try something else... it doesn't always work, but if it does it'll blow their mind. Explain that you can send your thoughts people... to prove this, you're going to call someone and send them the card they were thinking of with your mind... also, to make it fair, you wont use your phone. (the room is now FULL of skeptics)
get the target's phone, and place a call to your wing, who is at home (this is where the key name comes in) when he answers the phone say "hey Gina im looking for (whatever your wing's name is) he at this point starts calling out suits.. (Gina, is the key name for him to do that) "hearts, diamonds, clubs, spades" when he says the right suit (snce you already know the card you need to identify and he doesn't) interupt him by saying "yeah, I can wait a sec" The key he is looking for is for you to say "yeah" right after the correct suit. he then switches to numbers "1,2,3,4,5,6,7... etc" right after he gets to the right number say "yeah, (wing's name) I'm here at the club and im trying to do something. im going to put you on speaker phone really quick. is that ok?"
Lets say she chose the Ace of spades, you said "yeah" after Spade, and Ace. so he now knows EXACTLY what card she "randomly" chose. now play it up. he is on speaker phone, so start saying things like " im about to send you a color with my mind... say it when it gets there..." (act as if you are slightly struggling) he should reply questioningly "black?" now the intrigue is building... you just sent the right color... (OMFG! lol XD) then say "now the suit of a card... (struggle again) he reply's "is it the ace?" then say, ok, now I want you to text the next thing I send you to this number... (struggle a bit) then when the text get's to the phone, don't look at it. just look her in the eyes and tell her you want her to read ehat the text says... she will be amazed and read "OMG! it's Spades!" (then repeat that) "Ace of spades!, that was the card you chose right?" then ask her to show the text to all the other onlookers... then the trick is done.
the reason sending the text at the end is absolutely important is that she will see it later, it will remind her of you, it's is a form of anchoring... you will stay in her mind for quite a while.. also, by her showing the text to everyone else, it is a MUCH higher DHV than if they just HEARD your friend say "Spades" as now everyone is basically crowding to see what you've done... good solid technique, minimal set up, fun and 100% success rate... use it often and have fun
