| Post subject: | Thai Waitress opener.... |
So a small Thai restaurant opened in my town and I just went there for dinner with my friends. Long story short, there is no designated waiter/waitress and it's family owned and operated. One of the waitresses is a HB 8.5 age 18-22 who gave me several IOI's (IE staring at me behind the cash register smiling) during my visit. So far I'm not really sure exactly how to proceed. She came over a few times but as soon as I try and start a conversation her parent/aunt/grandpa comes over to join , this happened the three times I tried. So far I've come up with a direct "Call Me" note I could try and slip her and that's about it. Any other ideas? Any help would be most appreciated . PS. this restaurant is not cheap so I'm trying to avoid excessive amounts of visits. |

Don't proceed dude. Girls are a dime a dozen and if you get stuck on picking up one in particular, it won't come out how you wanted it to. Get out picking up other girls and if you ever end up in that restaurant again you know to take advantage of an opportunity. |

I disagree about giving up on her. If you are into and she is cute, and you feel as though she is interested in you, by all means try for it. Don't make her your only goal though, but don't give up. I'd go to the restaurant later when it slows down and try talking to her a little bit more and seeing how it goes from there. I wouldn't do the note, i think you would get better results from just asking her. |

Well if one of her family comes over, just chat it up with them and whatever until she starts trying to chime in. |

Actually, I think the note idea works well. Especially if you're constantly approached by guardians. Do you think you're the only one they interrupt from talking to her? Nah, they do it to everyone. Every girl loves to fantasize about being swept away in some sort of romantic, secretive way. Being "saved from the ivory tower", so to speak. The note gets in there where no one else gets the chance, and if done properly can seem pretty romantic in nature. Especially since it's "you two's secret". |

I agree. In this case, as written above, a note would be great because you actually have a good reason to give her a note - you can't communicate to her verbally in the restaurant. This and all the secrecy keeping, go for it |

The best thing to do is learn a couple Thai phrases to break the ice and then just go from there. If she's interested it will be obvious and you'll be good to go. One time I hit on a Thai waitress using the same technique... I just went up to the counter and asked her in Thai "Koon suay mak mak."? And then just laughed and said, "I was either going to tell you that or ask you where the bathroom was but I spent all night memorizing that so I figured I'd give it a shot" Then if she laughs or smiles just tell her your name and go from there and go for the number close. Worked for me. One thing to remember about Thai girls though is that they treat their men great and are super loyal. If you are going to attempt to date one you might want to unbuckle your chin strap because they really are good girls and she may just ground you. Good Luck... |
