I have read many books on the methods of picking up, but I found what works best for me is to walk up to a group of women and perform magic. It does sound cheesy and probably weird but they just love it! link a good performance with the right selection of magic effects and add in the right questions and boom your in. Again I am not saying it works 100% of the time but I just found it works so well as compared to other methods I have tried. I was just wondering has anyone else tried using magic as an opener? That'd work for me. It's a bit nostalgic on my end though, my dad's a magician. If you're in the states, you wouldn't even need a card trick with your accent. Bitches would flock. =p Edit: On an unrelated note, I may enter your contest- and I'm going to bring a deck with me tonight and see if it works on guys!

I think its a good strategy because it gives you an excuse to kino the girl. If you perform the trick right shes going to respond positively almost 100% of the time. You have seen David Blaine and other gorilla magicians on tv and women love that stuff. The women are always fully engaged, it's a foolproof opener in my eyes. Just make sure you have some material set up after, so it's not just "hey look at this cool trick, bye." |

If you were to perform to the life of the party man or woman. You could draw all the others in. You could easily out amog teh amog in that situation. Perform to the others and youy are just another party clown. You don't want to make it look like you want attention or magic is your only means of confidence. Push and pull with your magic. Infact, you probably get a load of girls saying "how did you do that?" Well you could say this place is a bit loud and move her outside. There is a lot you can do with your skill teh important thing is to link it to your own personality, to show that there are more facets to your personality. |
