lets face it, there are gonna be a few women out there that'd you like to get to know but they may be reluctant b/c of their comfort level/bitch (defensive) shields or excuses consisting of "i have a boyfriend" these 4 words have stumped a lot of guys ive seen on the field and i was wondering, what do you guys use, when you've come across this awkward and desperate statement of her potential relationship so far, ive come to grow comfortable with : pua: "blah blah" (escalating sexual tension, with body language, humor etc) hb: " i have a boyfriend" pua: " oh thats too bad, i do girl, girl guy not guy, guy girl" this usually gets me a good laugh or w.e and we keep the conversation going and i may get a number at the end of it all, but Id like to learn what you guys do when you come across this. mainly something funny that would even get the most difficult girl to smile and maybe give you her digits cheers |

Well if you we're building up enough attraction she would have never even mentioned her boyfriend. Maybe you are trying to escalate too fast? My reply is always something like, "Who asked about your boyfriend?" or "How long have you had that problem?" or "..and?" with a sarcastic tone. And a friend of mine likes to use this one: Her: I have a boyfriend. Him: And I like fast cars. Her: uh.. what? Him: I thought we were talking about two things that don't matter? |

My reply is always something like, "Who asked about your boyfriend?" or "How long have you had that problem?" or "..and?" with a sarcastic tone. perhaps i was escalating a little too fast then she was comfortable with at the time, either way some girls give off obvious IOI's while PUA's are sarging them and sometimes they really do have a bfs or perhaps their really shy or dont wanna seem like their giving it up so easy either way, i find techniques like yours a little better than memorized elongated material (straw man technique etc.), but yours may come off as a little too cocky ? |

And to answer your question about these lines being too cocky, they're not too cocky at all. As long as you can present yourself boldly, and in a playful manner, then things should not turn sour. If they do, then that's just how the game works. You take risks every step of the way, and sometimes you succeed, sometimes you fail. Every women is different. Bottom line, if you want to keep a girl you must never be afraid to lose her. But if you truly feel that it may be too cocky for your persona then you can take the safe route and reply to her next time with, "That's nice" with a sort of carelessness in your tone, and quickly move onto a new topic. Take a step back, and once you build more rapport, you may continue your gaming/escalation once again. But honestly, who wants to take the safe route? What is life without risks? |

One line I was taught when the girl replies with "I have a boyfriend" is "So do I,we all have boyfriends where I come from" :p. Hopefully she will laugh,otherwise its tough luck I guess. |
