I was just wondering,how often does the direct approach of simply intorducing yourself work? Ive been steping up my attempts to get over my approach anxiety and i want to know if anyonpe has had any success with this? |

Don't let anyone tell you differently - this opener is just as effective as anything else out there. I k-closed a supermodel last night just using "hey whats up, I like your dress, my name is Brah". You just have to be prepared to MOVE THE CONVERSATION further after "hi, whats up". She may respond to this opener very well, be interested in you and all, but if you can't move the conversation along and keep her interested, you're in trouble. the absolute worst is this: brah: Hi, I'm brah! Allison: Nice to meet you, I'm allison! .......... ........... ....... brah: so... uhh... *cough*, you come around here often? FAIL!!!!!!!! tldr; follow up your "hi" opener with something to talk about. |

According to pua teacher Brad p. those random bad pick up lines(how are you etc) dont work for most of his student or for himself. Also im pretty sure Brah didnt just close a super model just like that. I feel there is internet translation in place here. close 9 => close super model etc xD |

nope, it was literally a super model. met her at a bar/lounge in LA. She's almost unarguably one of the most gorgeous women in the world, though I doubt I'll ever hear from her again, and it's not like I have success like that every time I go out.I quickly transitioned after that opener - I didn't just hang my hat on "Hey, I like your dress". But nonetheless, those were the first words to her that left my mouth. |

It's an example of the opener/approach actually working in the field - a direct response to the OP's question, not an attempt to "prove" myself. And on a related note, it's naive to think that a guy that closes a hot girl would never, ever 'kiss and tell' about it.
