So you guys, I just signed up...I'm not 100% new to the game. I always use DHVs and Negs. I'm always confident and usually dont come off as the AFC, but just looking to build skills...hence joining the forum.
Anywho, I want to preface this ex girlfriend opener. My ex and I broke up about 7 weeks ago, and she deleted me from FB immediately. About 3 weeks ago, I friended her with a message attached saying, "because there's no reason to burn bridges. I hope all is well
" I think it shows confidence and maturity.Anyways, there's been no contact and there's a strong possibility she may have moved on, as I am as well, so it's not like I want to jump back in a relationship. I do however just want to talk as she was a very important person in my life at one time.
I was thinking of texting her, "I just saw something that reminded me of you." There's no way she wouldn't be interested to know what it was and will eventually ask. When she does, I just in a one sentence answer say what that was, which I'll bring up a joke from when we went on vacation together and leave it at that and no indication that I want to continue conversing.
Good idea? Or will it make me look desperate?
