Post subject:  Neg- Failure

Today I went to a very nice bar in my city. While there, I was running a little entourage game ( strolled in with 3 female friends) on a set next to me. I opened with my target and though I was semi-locked in to the 3 set. It was the girls birthday and I tried in jest to say happy 15th birthday ( it was her 22nd and I tend to use that cocky/funny type of humor). She got mad and I thought it was just a shit test so played it as such...until she told a bouncer that I tried to finger her on the dance floor and was kicked out. Moral of the story, not every situation works well and at times you can make poor reads. Regardless, have fun and on the bus ride home you may run into an old set for a quicky.

Haha what a bitch! To the bouncer "Bro, she is tripping. I'd rather stick my fingers in a week old ham sandwich. She's just mad because I ain't feelin' her, you know what I'm saying. You don't gotta worry about me going near her again but I am not down with all this slander shit."

wow... at least you just got kicked out rather than stomped out. that is pure BS though, i would of said hey buddy smell my finger does it smell like its been in any pussy tonight yet? lol or just played up the girl was intoxicated and doesn't know what she is talking about. If you did manage to stay I would imagine since the girl is so spiteful that she would of run up to you JUST to ruin any future gaming for the rest of the night

Haha,
thanks a lot for the support guys. I realized that the bouncer had no choice but to believe her "version" and decided to play it cool ( after all sets still reside outside the club). Anyway, I did mention she was overly intoxicated and said I wish a camera would prove my case. Regardless, if I was allowed to stay her continuous interruptions would only add to my value ( although I am not quite good enough to figure out how to stay in set while being accused of molestation).
Any way in teh future to tell if a girl is a total bitch or trying to shit test you?

IMO You didn't need to throw out a "neg". Negs are used as disqualifiers. And to DHV. She did nothing worthy of a "neg", at least from what you stated. Besides, negs are supposed to make her laugh. Like: oh no he didn't.

BTW She probably thought you were just trying to be funny even though it was in good intentions, she wasn't in the right state of mind to take the joke as such. Some girls find that kinda stuff annoying. You can see the look on some girls' faces when they think you're trying too hard. Even though I'm not a girl, when someone mistimes a joke, I'm like haha not funny. The nicest of girls bring it to your attention (from my experience). Some girls give the polite laugh. Meanest of girls...well...now you know.

Thats whats up though. She definitely was a bitch for getting you kicked out. She actually is probably a spoiled, not worthy of your dick kind of girl. Or just a really feisty, I'm looking for fun kind of girl.

@gotwhyte: I think a lot of what you said was spot on. Just to clarify, my game tends to be based as a fun, carefree and affable person whose says a lot of things in jest. She just took it wrong ( I rarely have such an over the top type response). I was just lost on how to respond to her reaction. Obviously, I could not apologize ( since I did little wrong) but, clearly she did not want a male in her group. She was sexy and her friend was very into me. Any suggestions on how to deal with the situation

Happy 15? LOL!

I think that's a little hard for a neg,
especially since it's the opener.

Although it is really funny to hear :)

I would have go with:

YOU: Happy birthday!

Her: Thanks blah blah ...

Now you can get a little "feel" of the situation. If it feels right, I would say something like:

"Yeah, I remember my sweet 16 blah blah blah ..."

Or, "yeah my little sister has just turned 17 as well, we did her a party at blah blah ... "

This way you:

A - Get a little of connection before you neg
B - Get a feel of the situation (and the girl) before you neg
C - The neg is more indirect, and it's about YOU, not her. Cocky comedy will work better that way

Hope this help man.

Le'me know if you do it again!

The best ways to deal with bitchy behavior are to be non-reactive, or not to take it seriously. The moment you react in a negative way ie funny face, bitching back, you lost. Return another warm gesture that says you're not affected by her attitude. Try it without flinching. Us funny guys like to be a little over the top and our flinching and that might be a little too much sometimes.

The last time a girl gave me bitchy behavior I used that to throw a neg. I threw a smile, said something about liking the attitude, and turned to one of her friends and said how do you roll with her?

You can take it as an IOD and turn your body away from the target (IOD) and talk to her friend about her feisty behavior.

A girl at my job was like: attitudes clash. Give me some space and just let that shit blow over.

BTW when throwing a neg, your body needs to IOD too. You can't look at her waiting for a reaction either because its not important or congruent with the neg/IOD.

Yea, I thought it was a funny line. And like I said it was not meant as a Neg ( not something I really do). It was more of a joke that she took poorly. I assumed that because her friend introduced me to those two I was "in" and the grin would show im not being serious on the intro. But, yea in the future I may hold off until after the intro. I stayed non-reactive and was just like "chill bro." Regardless, I think i will aviod birthday parties and try for 364/365 of the rest of the population!

That was funny, but it's a little harsh for a neg.

Anyways, this girl sounds like a bitch. Don't let it get you down. It's good to see that you're out there doing a damn thing.

That was not harsh at all. Negs are great in a variety of situations. Last night a closed a girl based on the pivotal comment "So when did your doctor start prescribing you Noassatall extra strength?" I don't know what these guys are talking about. It wasn't the neg that got the reaction it was probably something in Body Language, Tonality, or Incongruency.
