ok so like theres a HB8 on the cross country team...and i was wondering what good openers would be? would "nice shoes...they look comfortable" work? and what about in like a classroom environment, to like a fellow classmate whos like anywhere from a HB8 to a HB 10? |

no... it sounds like your trying to make an opener but dont have the capacity to do it... when meeting new people at school i always like to say, "so tell me about yourself, you and me never got to know each other..." but make sure she doesnt control the conversation, and for every plus about her she says you say two. but you could add your other opener, about the shoes, before this, but thats not enough to start a conversation... btw, dont take my advice and run off with an erection to talk to her... take a day or two to really think and plan what you're going to say. make sure it is very general, in other words, leave room for different things to talk about in the conversation. but dont shoot the breeze and just make small talk... "uh... nice day eh?" |

well if shes on your team for cross country it should be no problem, you are a team along with who ever else, go around talking to other people so you can build some social proof within the group, she will notice then eventually make your way to her, just dont leave her for last |

ok, so just so i got this down because im retarded sometimes i go up and say, tell me about yourself? because we never had a chance to talk before? and for every positive thing she says about herself i say two...about me or her? would it be ok if i sort of started out with small-talk but then worked up to sometihng more significant? |

I struggle with openers, but from A2 to C3 i'm perfect hahaha, well you've found the right place to start. After a while opening will become natural. Want to talk to the X country girl just say hello and start talking about x country strats. Unless you joined for her, in which case get over oneitis. |

hahah thing is...at my college, nobody discusses strategy! we all just screw around and hope we do well. we're like the 10th out of 13th in WSC (western states conference) yeah. we suck haha |

okay thats pretty easy then next time you have a meet do something along these lines stand next to her and say you: i cant believe we are this bad hb: yeah i know (or w/e...it doesnt matter what she says, as long as she hears you) you: only if we had more people like you on the team.... hb: yeah I.. (then INTERUPT her) you:...then we would at least have a chance of making last place(neg).(smile after saying this) go on from there since you only have problems with opening |

i think a neg like ice just stated would only work if she's a 9 or 10... be careful using powerful negs in a daytime situation on girls lower than that... |
