Post subject:  Get a kiss on the cheeck in a minute-opener

Hey guys, Was on the phone with a mate and I came up with this opener. I think it's cute. Must be delivered really good!

Pua:Hey! Do you like cute animals?
Girl:Yes, of course! Especially bla bla (or just yes, wont say no I guesS)
Pua: Thats great! Last year I was in Rome, Italy with some friends. There was this church and this freaky weird guy who ran the place was in trouble. I helped him out, he was stuck on the stairs with a heavy table and was about to fall. He was so grateful that he blessed me. For every kiss on the cheeck, a cute puppy imprisoned will be saved. The bad side is, when a girl declines, 5 puppies will die. So, do you like cute animals?
-moment you should turn your cheek to her.

It's FAR from perfect, I just came up with the idea. Soooo... any suggestions to make this one perfect? If a girl sees you approach 2 beautiful women and they kiss you both... isn't that a nice DHV? :P

Suggestions/feedback! Will possibly try today. :)

It's a little too surreal for my tastes, it's too obvious you just want a kiss on the cheek.

"Do you like cute animals?" might work well as an opener, but you'd be better off following it with something a little more concrete and down to earth.

Secondly, ignore obvious DHVs in your opener. DHVing here just drags it out too long, I don't know whether she'd bother to pay attention to the whole thing.

Thirdly, remove the ultimatum. "Kiss me on the cheek or 5 puppies will die" will unlikely get you anywhere, it's slightly threatening.

Finally, it's missing the 2 key elements of a good opener: A false time constraint and it's not rooted in reality. You need to supply a reason you're asking her. The stock one is "Me and my friends were just talking about..." but I prefer to make it about her. "I noticed your hat/boots/necklace/tattoo/earrings/etc and it reminded me" because this gives you reason to be talking to her specifically.
