Me: so hey, you all resemble women, wat do you guys think about dudes with tattoos? them: blah blah blah me: oh all right, well I asked because my friend's girlfriend wants him to get one of her name, but I think it's stupid because once they break up he's stuck with her name on whatever part he decides to put it on. And to be honest, she's kind of a bitch anyway boom set's open. so what do guys think? |

Nice. You're using my NEG advice from another thread. But here's the critique: Ok, here's how I'd modify you're opener. You: Say guys, you resemble women and this'll only be a sec but my friend wants to get his current GF's name tattoo'd on his left arm. But they've only been going out for 4 months!!!! What can I say to talk him out of it??? (This'll demonstrate that you 'Get It' in regards to relationships) HBs: Blah Blah Blah You: OMG! You are SOOOO right, but I just can't tell him that. I don't know what his problem is. Have you ever had that friend you just couldn't get through to? (Multi-threading) |

Thanks for the advice guys. I might try and edit it like Holden said it. I like the details, makes it seem more real instead of a lie. Yea I agree, I don't really like opinion openers but I just thought up of this one and wanted to see if it's any good. |
