Hey,

In recent months i have noticed my dancefloor game improve considerably. I am a student who stays in Glasgow in Scotland and me and my mates usually go out to clubs a few nights a week. We are pretty good dancers. We dont do any stupid dancing, just have fun and use nifty footwork :P . The dancefloors are pretty packed however we usually find that a lot of groups of girls will move next to us and start dancing and giving us IOIs. At this point, i know a girl is attracted to me, but i really dont know what the best way to progress the situation is. Should i just go dance with her? (if so, should i approach from the front, behind, side etc). Should i go and say something while dancing (what should i say)? Should i say something to take her off the dancefloor?

Bear in mind i live in the UK if you have to factor in any cultural differences. Any help would be much appreciated.

Idk much about the UK, but here in the US grinding is very popular in clubs. And honestly, it's easy to build sexual tension. You;ve got the hard part down, they;re coming to you! Be confident, keep dancing, smile or wink at one of the girls, and don;t hesistate, as soon as you see any IOI, grab her hand, NEVER FROM BEHIND!. If you want to grind, grab her hand and twirl her, and then you can grind. Don't be creepy.

If your clubs are more relaxed dancing, rather than sexual like clubs here usually, you could always just dance next to her, across from her, and once a song is over, pull her aside and just say "Wow, did you learn those moves from me ;)?". Sorry if i'm not much help here, as I face more grinding heavy clubs.

From my experience, most girls dancing together in a group can't wait to be snatched up, especially the ones looking around the club. Just don't come in from the back and start grinding with them. Project fun first before giving that sexual/aggressive vibe. I think dancing parallels verbal game: start with something fun (twirling, picking up, do-si-do), become comfortable, then transition to grinding or whatever. When I'm out with girls that I'm friends with, they tend to blow off guys that just creep up behind them. But they love when guys are confident, grab their hand (not immediately grabbing their waist), and start dancing.
