This happened to me on Saturday night! I was gaming a girl asked her to pick a number between one and four and she says

HB "You're doing the game!".
Bloke "What are you talking about?"
HB "The Game! I know you're doing it"
Bloke "Yeah my brothers a psychologist he taught me this game"
HB" " I know how it works"
Bloke "Okay GO are you thinking of 2??"
HB "No it's 3"
Bloke "Oh my brother told me it's always 2 :("

The key is to have a very strong frame. Make her feel silly for saying something so random and foreign to your innocent ears. Eventually I isolated her and she told me

HB "The Game is a Secret Society of guys who get chicks."
Bloke "Like the Illuminate?"

I told her a story about how I tried to join the Illuminate and mum cracked it. Then she explained more about "The Game" to me I acted interested and dumb the whole time.

So a girl ended up telling me how the game works (to the best of her ability). She told me she'd blown off other guys in the past she'd caught using the game on her (bloke "Wait! You actually met guys from this secret society??".) Yet I went on a day 2 with her yesterday and it's pretty much a done deal. On the date she tells me even more about the game, amazing.

It comes down to 2 things if you get busted gaming
1. A strong frame
2. Confidence in the fact that if your game is strong a girl probably won't know half as much as you do. It's likely she'll know what a neg and a cube is and that's it.
(for the record I ran the cube on her too, another one of my brothers psychological tests lol!)

I don't use routines for this exact reason, but I guess it didn't completely blow up in your face.

Most PUAs will have a deep seated fear of being discovered. It can add to approach anxiety. It will detract from you overall game, if before every gambit or routine you think, "shit i hope she hasn't heard this one!"

This is why it is important when you advance your game to move from canned openers to those that are improvised. If I had given this girl a canned opener (like I had many other sets that night) She would have been much more likely to blow me off (not literally, unfortunately). I asked her why she was all by herself or something "don't you have any friends?".

Also the way I see it many gambits are very very powerful tools. Just because some girls may have heard of them there's no reason to throw them all in the bin. It's worth the risk that you may get busted because 8/10 girls won't have heard of the game.

For the other 2/10 have your escape route planned before that horrible day comes and maintain a strong frame.

It's not about wit as much as it is about a strong frame. I guarantee all people who have been busted gaming and overcome it have one thing in common. A much stronger frame than the target. In other words your frame that you have never heard of the game before must be much stronger than her frame (of catching you out running game). If your frame is strong enough you can get busted and even say something like "Yeah so what you lucky bitch!" without blowing out.

Deep seated fear meaning no one wants to be found out running game and this can cause worry for many guys. If you never worry about being sprung you don't open many sets or you have a magic confidence that I do not.

I have too many times gone into a set and missed the target because I outright hit on the obstacle and ended up wining her instead of the target. So I'm gonna start opening sets and instead of ignoring the target I will make her the focus of my attention with with the group as an afterthought. Especially if the group is a mix of 7s and 8s. I've found MM techniques really only work well on HB 10s. I think I will still use indirect game, but directly on the target.

You're just there for your own fun, is there anything wrong with it?
With such additude it doesn't really matter what you say, you put her back where you want her in no time

I consider Stock Routines to be "training wheels" for the PUA in Training. As you gain experience, get into funny social situations, and flex your social muscles from going out, these should be cycled out for original routines: remember, there is a huge difference between "training wheels" and "crutches" -- don't rely on stock, because this will inevitably happen.

I have a good 8-12 openers, all original, that I use nowadays.

If you're looking for good ideas for original openers, watch a few hours of Comedy Central Stand Up Comedy -- think about it. These guys put it all on the line every night and open to a crowd of 5000, and have less than 2 minutes to get every person in the house eating out of the palm of their hand. They are the ultimate PUAs.

Yep totally agree. I just haven't thought up many originals yet. Care to share some examples? Promise I won't steal! Also are the openers you create situational or na?
