Your mindset is all wrong broman.

You can't possibly know she's girlfriend material until you've gotten to know her over the course of at least a few weeks.

If a girl strikes you because she's attractive, or she has a great walk, or a fantastic sense of fashion, then just go over there and say it!

For example:

"Hi! I know this is a bit random but I noticed you from over there and I think you're absolutely stunning, so I thought I come over here and introduce myself."

And then proceed to introduce yourself, and have a normal conversation about whatever the fuck is going on with you, what's up with her, what she's into, and see if there's a connection. If so, suggest something fun to do together over the next week, set up a time and place, and get her number.

IT'S REALLY THAT EASY.

Lets say I'm in a restaurant (dining hall in university) and I see a girl that I would want to be my girlfriend. (Assuming I like her personality) What's the best way of going about introducing myself/starting a conversation. I mean I don't want to come off as a pick up guy, but at the same time i don't want it to be a "nice" exchange of dialogue. How much sexuality is to much to bring into the conversation? If I get her number, when should I text her? Etc....You get the point. Thanks a lot. (btw yes, I'm at the point where I'm looking for a girlfriend, not just a pick up)

And you are really putting the pussy on a pedestal looking for a girlfriend. It will potentially convey a needy personality. Keep it cool and talk to her. Dont need her to be ur girlfriend.
