| Post subject: | Handling the worst scenarios |
Hey everyone. I am fairly new the the PUA scene and I have had only few unexpected experiences. It occurred to me 2 weekends ago when I got the middle finger from an HB9 that I should really have a better understanding of how to handle extreme situations. Fortunately, this girl was joking and ended up making the moves on me, but I want to create a new stream of worst case scenarios and how we've handled them or how we could have handled them better. Example: I'm talking to this HB8.5 who I'd met once before (but had been in a relationship at the time). We were out at a club and she was in a 4-set (3 guys and herself). I opened, befriended 2 guys while the other left. By the time I began talking to the HB8.5, an HB7 obstacle came in. I began negging the HB8.5 and one of the guys I'd made friends with called me out on my neg. Apparently he had read some PUA stuff and knew some basic lines. Immediately after calling me out, I felt uncomfortable and trapped. I felt like the guy would call me out again if I negged her again or if I used any stock/canned material so I excused myself. I know I should have tried to isolate the target, but this guy was watching me like a hawk after that neg, so isolating would have been impossible. How do you guys handle getting called out on PUA material? These experiences should really be the worst possible scenarios, like getting a "F*** you" or getting called out on game, or anything bad like that. Please share your thoughts and experiences! |

hells. i just highfive the guy that calls my act, wink at him and run with it. say that im a pickup artist. tell the HB about some basic stuff (and demonstrate on her, especially the kino shit). BE proud of the fact, be confident and somehow it works.... well. half the time it does |

I had a similar thing, where a girl recognized a common Mystery-Routine and I'm living in the middle of europe! But I suppose that's just bound to happen with canned material (especially the stuff from DVDs and Books). Edit: I just thought of the worst thing that happened to me so far. A couple of months back I was in a set and after a while one of the obsticles asked me to leave. How I handled the situation? Well... I left. I guess with that kind of thing, there is nothing else you can do besides playing a better game in the first place. Or can anyone else think of a solution? |

What new2game said "If you get called out, dont be shy or feel embarrassed". I also think it is important not to get discouraged! Maybe just as important as handling the set itself. It can happen, but who cares... it ll happen in a neglectible no of sets anyways. Dont let it affect you. |

EXACTLY. Check out this vid.I also think it is important not to get discouraged! Maybe just as important as handling the set itself. It can happen, but who cares... it ll happen in a neglectible no of sets anyways. Dont let it affect you. The guy gets sprung, he OWNS his "pickup line" and continues, apparently successfully. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHixnO2Kxxw |
