| Post subject: | False Time Contraints |
I have buddies who talk about opinion openers being a thing of the past since the VH1 show has made them so popular. WHile I think that might be a stretch (is it really that suspicious to ask an opinion to someone in a social setting?) I can see false time constraints as something that might seem a little sketchy to some people. The problem I see is more than just the fact that it is a big and well known part of the PUA arsenal, but that we really aren't going anywhere anytime soon and a girl might catch on that this guy said he had to leave, but yet...here he still is. Do most of you always use a false time contraint without exception, or do some of you just throw it out there sometimes. Thanks. |

You need to used time constraints that enable you to walk away because you need to go talk to some other person, or go see what your friends are up to if you will be in the same area, or something random if you are actually going to be going far enough away. Don't tell her you are late for a doctor's appointment when you're at at a party and then see her across the room later, that's when you tell her you are gonna go check on your friends. As long as you are a bit smart about what ones you use when its not a problem. |

I totally agree with Rye Lee's comment.. Time constraint is very important because it is a set up that allows you to gracefully walk out of a set that is not working out gracefully while conserving value.. What most beginners in the game lack is the understanding that while they are sarging a group just about all the other sets around that set is noticing him. Not only noticing but also noticing the way the set is responding to him. So imagine being blown out of a set the rest of the sets will be less receptive to your approach.. Now imagine this scenario... If you have an exit strategy that you have set up by using time constraint you have an excuse to walk away while conserving your value.. Also a time constraint answers a very important question of "when this guy is going to leave?" that needs to be addressed in most sets... If you have not tried using Time constraints just use the same openers but add time constraint.. My field experience has shown me that women become more relaxed and at ease when you tell them you would be leaving soon.. It is at this point they stop thinking about how are we going to get rid of this guys.... I believe that time constraint is a wonderful little add on that has no down side. Happy Sargings Brother Mois |
