Post subject:  Good college openers
So i'm starting me second year of college, and i realized EVERY time i meet someone the boring same old questions would come up like what your major? What dorm are you at? etc..., and nearly every guy asks the same thing, so i figured a college campus is a great place for any decent opener to work well..... after all if a girl gets something other the the same old shit they always hear i bet it would grab there attention pretty easily. So does anyone have any good college openers, like for in class, in your dorm, at a party,or just for walking around campus?

In my school we have an elevator (really tall building). And every day I have to go to the 7th floor, so it takes a while. So every time I'm in the elevator with a girl (or any person I haven't met for that matter) I'm telling:

"You know, the last time I was in this elevator, red letters appeared on the display, saying: EMERGENCY: Please leave this elevator. But the elevator was still moving, so I couldn't actually leave!"

Most of the time, they are like: So what happened next?! Now I got their attention, you can make up some funny bs story (As Mystery said: It's not lying, it's flirting). By that time I'm already at the 7th floor, so we say to each other: have a nice day.

But she will remember me. It's a great way for me to socialize and meet new people within a minute :P

In case they don't have elevators at your school:

- ask for directions
- pass notes in class (it's playful)
- make jokes about the teachers (they will always be the center of ridicule anyway)
- ask to borrow simple stuff like a pen or a piece of paper. Make sure you smile and make eye contact when you do. Or "forget" to give her her pen back, so she will have to ask you for it. That way, she initiates contact.

Octave welcome my man here is the some knowledge that will undoubtedly change the course of your college life (At least from a fun standpoint).

Alright its honestly going to be mostly about your attitude keep it cocky funny at all times when opening. For walking around campus try this "Excuse me could you tell me a good place to eat _____ or do you know where the closest restaraunt is I am starving" (She answers) You: "How do I get there can you give me directions I'm new to the area" When she starts to give you directions abruptly say "You know what I'm sorry I'm not actually even hungry I just wanted to come over and flirt for a little bit" (The key to this is cocky comedy you need to smile with your eyes not just your mouth when you deliver this line if you show signs of nervousness whatsoever you will be making it a lot harder on yourself.


ORIGINAL "CALM DOWN" Opener by: GUESSAGAIN

For Parties or in the dorm its simple I use the simplest opener to open big groups of girls anywhere and parties this would work especially well all you do is walk up motion with your hands up and down with your palms facing the ground and say "I'm going to need to ask you guys to just calm down" (Its all about the face and attitude you do it with, if they laugh say something like No seriously and then continue in set.

Sometimes this is a great opener to say and if they don't laugh just act like you were serious and walk away and when you see them again later say the same exact thing this works like a charm, (Look to see if only one or two girls in the group find it funny when you see them alone later say it again to her).

This generally works best if you can find some girls being really quite or calm and say it to them as the irony in itself is humorous.

This is the first time anyone other than me will have ever heard the CALM DOWN opener as I came up with it so try it out and let me know what you think.

thanks.... im liking the calm down opener haha. That will get a girls attention and i can definitely do this one right.... plus if they dont laugh and take me seriously there probably not my type anyways :-p not that there type matters if all im trying to do is get some but haha it definitely makes it easier. Ill try this and let you know how it works out.....

grandma (asian pua) uses this haha. there's a video of him in action on youtube on a college campus if anyone is interested

these are all amazing openers and such but my problem is my mind runs through all the possible reasons to not approach... are there ways to overcome this mindset?

the other day i heard in a seminar a good tactic for stopping approach anxiety or laziness it helps for all areas of life. Whenever you dont feel like doing something for any reason do it. it will totally change all areas of your life for the better.

To work on my approach anxiety the other day i went out with the sole purpose of being blown out, approached 10 girls and asked them straight out for a number using some stupid lines like "i lost my number can i have yours?" it totally made me realize that rejections are meaningless.
