| Post subject: | Pua noob(how do i open a convo with a chick on aim?) |
This chick goes to my school, I have no classes with her, and just decided to add her on myspace and messaged her writing 'hey you go to duarte high right?" just to try to get a convo up and asked her for her aim, I imed her about an hour later and the convo was shit, maybe said six things, thats it. Thing is this girl is a 10 imo and i want to get her interested any tips??? |

the thing about online game (at least with im's) is that it's very difficult to show any sort of body language, a half-hearted sarcastic remark, a smile (minus the use of smilies which can only go so far) - what you have to do is spark interesting conversation, a topic that she can really involve herself with instead of you doing all the talking - if you have her myspace, check it out, see what some of her interests are and discuss - one advantage of the internet is that you can come across common interests without worrying about making her reveal too much for example, let's say she's into r&b; "i'm a fan of r&b, i can really relate blah blah" OR on the side of a lighthearted neg that, for the most part, won't be seen as an insult "you know what they say about people who listen to r&b blah blah" there isn't much opportunity to really show personality, so try to be unique with your delivery - don't use leetspeak and shit like everyone else, type articulately, be witty, etc... |

You're first mistake was that opening question way to Lame. It was try hard like you don't know you're in the same school as her. She's thinking "Ok you're some guy who goes to my school So what" and you're just some Loser guy like the many others who are trying to hit on me. She could have easily said NO you your question then you would have felt like crap Yeah all that making fun of her profile stuff is cool However.......... You might not have access to girls profile it may be private. And adding ppl you don't know without messaging them at the same time time is Not Cool. In a case like that you make statement like so: "I'm sure we never met in person but this is the internet/Myspace/ect. So......... HOLA!!" See no question asked they'll respond and add you 9/10 times even if you know the person its fun to do |

For future reference, it's better to approach and meet in person than to randomly add her as a friend and contact her from behind a computer screen. |

Don't take this too hard but if you sent me that message. I would respond with a "NO!" now if you sent SouthenCross's message "I'm sure we never met in person but this is the internet/Myspace/ect. You were able to analyze the situation and realized how it was percieved Just don't forget that Analyze things its how you learn any pointers or should i just throw the idea out? if she seems secretly insecure throw a neg at her, one thats had some suprising results for me is if the girl is wearing sandals poke fun at her feet but dont over do it. but make sure she knows you arent going to chase her because your time is valuable, not hers. beware of shit tests, dont jump on command for her but most of all, dont get oneitis over this girl, you might think shes special but go hit on several other women, see if shes still all that special to you. and if it doesnt work out, dont let it get to you theres still millions of other women prettier and smarter out there . |
