opening is nothing, it means nothing and therefore you shouldn't worry about it, AT ALL. starting a conversation with a woman is a SOCIAL skill, it has nothing to do with how good you are with women. anything that happens while you are being SOCIAL will not take away any of your seduction abilities. being social doesn't get the girl, so why worry if your opener isn't perfect? i'll admit it, opening isn't fun. you'll never be amazing at it, go open a 100 sets if you want, it doesn't mean anything. opening is just a screening process, you see what her reaction is, that's all. your opener won't get her attracted to you, no matter if you use an opinion opener, a DHV opener or whatever else you have. it's a numbers game, there's no such thing as the perfect pick up, sure you can think you're learning all of this to be able to get any girl, but you won't. don't worry, i'm not being a d'ck about this, i just want you to know your opener doesn't matter. now, you want a simple opener? instead of scouring a club looking for a 'set', stand at the bar. stop worrying, no matter what pick up tells you, you're not DLVing yourself or whatever. now, whenever a girl comes within a few feet of you, she's in your space, she's the stranger to your environment, you're not the guy walking up to her. forget opinion openers, forget even talking to her, hold your glass up to initiate a 'cheers' with her, look at her reaction. if she clinks her glass and smiles, you're in, run whatever game you wish to choose. if she clinks your glass but doesn't look to happy, just think to yourself - SHE IS SHY, frame it to this, not to 'she doesn't like me', again run your usual game from here. if she looks at you like you're a creep, forget her, smile and take a drink and turn away, you've did nothing wrong. getting 'rejected' this way is much better than walking up to her, getting blown out and having to walk away. ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT. opening ain't sh't. |

Truth. The thing is that canned openers are good for people new to the game, as a lot of them have approach anxiety. And when you come 'prepared', you feel a lot better already. I still say, don't use them unless you need to, because you can just bump into a girl, call her out on it and make her seem like its her fault in a playful way, and have the same desired effect (or maybe even better). |
