yes, thats a line from the game. i thought of the concept of a person walking up to you and opening with that, so i did it!
last weekend i opened up to a shy asian girl on the bus, she was sitting next to me listening to her ipod, but had one headphone on my side out. I took this as my own little IOI and tried to overcome my AA.
Crash and Burn.
she just stared at me, luckily i got off at the next stop.
Then yesterday my friends dared me to go foward and try it again. They picked out 2 girls sitting on a bench in the middle of Queen Street Mall (brisbane for all non Australians). I approached from a side angle, as they were walking in my direction now. As the first girl passed, i smelt a wiff of her perfume, absolutely delicate. The second girl, far more beautiful then the first was walking about 3m behind girl number one. This is a basic run down of what happened
AFC: Ahhh, excuse me, but i just have to ask you something
Both girls stop and stand around me
Girl 2: Yea, what is it
AFC: This is going to sound ridiculous, but your just the sort of person who would know the answer, but anyway. What is your favourite Flavour of bowling ball
By this time im beaming with my smile due to the fact of my nerves practially killing me
Girl 1: Lets go, this guys a bit weird
Girl 2: No way, i want to know what this means
By this time i figured girl 1 had a bitch defence, being to inexperienced i took a chance on negging
AFC: so, im guessing your the nice one *Points to girl 1* and your the mean one *points to girl number 2*
Both girls start to laugh. Girl one had the sweetest smile
Girl1: thats a bit mean dont you think, you dont even know us
AFC: It was just a guess, but you still havent answered my question
Girl1: Its going to be something disgusting isnt it
Girl2: Yea, some weird guy thing
By this time my friends in the distance are laughing and mouth " how are you doing this"
AFC: no really, my favourite is orange, it brings out my eyes
Laughter. i realised i didnt leave a time constraint so i decided to close
AFC: well, you guys were no help. My friends are leaving so i'l see you later
Girls 1+2: byee
As you see, i still need to work on my negging and time constraints. later on i saw the two girls again and they yelled out " have a nice day"
I THEN CONTINUED TO AFC LIKE CRAZY
i walked up to them and asked " if we wanted to keep talking, how could we do this"
I knew this was going to be a dead end, why would i number close about 5-10 mins after leaving!!
