I´m a doctor and I have to say that even if that is something that many women would find as a pretty good thing, i´ve noticed that it´s also something that could very easily make it seem like I´m bragging if somehow mentioned early in a pick up.

If you do have a status occupation it´s really worth keeping that secret for a while and to try to maneuver towards speaking about what she finds interesting or what she did the past week for world peace. If asked early, you could pretend as if you didn´t hear the question or say you forgot cause it´s not that important (Don´t worry, it will be mentioned by some friend of yours or just slip out later)

If mentioned late enough to really seem like you´re not bragging about those things really makes you seem like a confident guy, since you obviously don´t rely on it to impress girls.

Point is.

If you tell a girl your rich, famous, or have a high status occupation in the first minute that normally doesn´t help your game.

Maybe this was obvious to everyone, and I´m in no way a master seducer, but considering how much BS i hear everyday it really needs to be said sometimes.

Peace

I agree.

A rich man doesn't need to tell anyone he is rich.

If she asks what you do for a living just change the subject or tell her what your dream job would be.
OR my favorite response...
"I really don't like talking about my work. I am at my job to allow me to live the life I want, not to be my life." and then you can go into the speach about all those people who get absorbed into their work and never go out and do anything. Not like the two of you... because your both already out doing something.
