Absolutely amazing how important this is. I usually take my little China Girl to bars with me. She hangs on my arm, kisses me a lot, we have a great time. But the thing I notice is, when I go out with her, women are DROOLING over me. At first, I thought it was just them wondering what a guy like me was doing with a chinese woman who barely speaks english. But after reading up on the importance of demonstrating pre-selection, I am certain that's exactly what it is. Women want the guy who already has a woman, not the guy who's there with guy friends or alone...they don't want the available guy. They only want what they can't have. Social proof can be ALMOST as good, but not quite. Being the outgoing guy in a venue, introducing yourself to other males and engaging them in conversation can help. But it isn't pre-selection. That said, last night, while sarging alone, I was being hit on by some chick at a sports bar. Following some bad advice from Mystery & co, I playingly told her I would be so into her if only she were my type. She took it literally. She's a 6...I'm probably a solid 8.5 or 9. Next thing I know, obstacles came in and the set was blown. I KNOW my best shot at re-opening was to demonstrate pre-selection, and then re-approach, but I'm standing there at the bar alone and it isn't good. Then I look over and notice two 9.5-10's seated immediately to my right. I tried to open them into normal conversation but the one I approached immediately assumed I was just hitting on her. She was like an ice-berg. All I wanted was to use the hot ones to demonstrate pre-selection to the 6 and her friends, as opposed to just standing there by myself. I didn't even give a shit about gaming the 9's and 10's. I am still taking baby steps with this "game" and 9's and 10's...I'm not ready for that yet. In this situation, would it be total suicide to just tell the woman you want to use for pre-selection that you just need her to fake a conversation with you so you can get the attention of another woman? The 9's and 10's have been hit on so many times, I think even if you tell them this, I don't think it would make it through the ASD shields. You know, something like, "Hey, can you do me a favor? I know a woman like you probably gets hit on by guys like non-stop, especially in a place like this. But, you see, I've been learning a lot about women. See that girl over there in the orange shirt? I'm really interested in her. I was just talking to her and I'm not sure what happened. I know she's interested in me, but for whatever reason, I'm not talking to her anymore. It would be too awkward for me to re-approach her right now. If I do that, I'm dead. I need a few minutes before I re-approach, but if I stand around not talking to women, I'm shot. Anyway, I know from previous experience, the best thing I can do to re-attract her is to be seen laughing and talking with another woman who's either as good looking as her, or better looking than her. I guess what I'm saying is, as one human to another, can you just help me out on this one? I just need you talk to me for like 5 or 10 minutes, fake some interest, and then I can re-approach her. So, can you help me out?" Here's the really freaky part: If it works, and she decides to help out, you've just opened another set WITHOUT them thinking you're hitting on them. If they stay and help, then you can ask for a kiss on the cheek, ask her to hold hands, etc...all under the guise of "fake" attraction. Who knows? Anyone ever try something like this?

I've been designing a similar routine for when I got out to preform one of Mystery's newbie missions. I think some points on your approach is that its a very long winded explanation, and because your not using a FTR their going to start thinking "When is this guy gonna leave". Also, I think you may be TOO honest with your situation. If you said that verbatim, I think the explanation would create such DLV towards yourself and so much DHV towards them, they wouldn't want to help you. However, you said your talking to them like humans. Focus on treating them as EQUALLY on ground with you. If your intention is solely to use them for pre-selection/social proof, then I'd recommend your best opener would establish you on equal ground instead of initiating a "Battle of Value" with them. My 2 cents.

I've actually considered hiring "escorts" to go to the bars with me to be my "pre-selection". I have one GF right now and I NEED two. If this chick dumps me, which is a long shot, I'll lose my friggin' mind. These women drive me absolutely INSANE! I mean, I've got everything a woman wants (social skills, tons of money, I'm hot, fun, decent sense of humor, self confident, I'm bragging, but the list goes on and on), but I have no success with US women at all. I ALWAYS manage to fuck everything up with the US women. I think I'm starting to lose my friggin' mind. I've been playing this stupid 'game' for 5 months now, and right now, there's not a single US woman in my phone directory that I could call and have a conversation with. I've fucked up every n-close I've had. Amazingly, I was doing MUCH better BEFORE I started studying pick-up. I wanted to improve, but things have gotten much worse since I started trying.

I have a few hot female friends. Not women I eventually want to get into bed but can't and have entered the 'friend zone' but women I have no desire to date and who I am strictly their friend and know that I game on women. They actually help. I help them with advice on how guys think and they help me. I learned more about women from them than any book. Not discounting how valuable the game book is, its very accurate and good but supplemented with women friends and your success ratio should go up.

I worked a similar approach. But I went for the girls in the new set instead. I was sarging a girl at the bar and things were going well. Only thing, she forgot to mention her bf was there as well, he walks up while my hand is on her leg. I ejected. The next set i opened, i told them what happened. I think it DHVd me because It made me look so desirable that even girls with bfs in the bar could not resist me. The 9 in the set immediately starts to flirt with me heavy (cause she should be getting the most desirable guy right). I ended up k-closing. So I think it even works if they don't see you with another girl, it might be enough just to tell them that there is another girl in the room that wants you. Another time I enlisted the help of two HB friends. I met this HB9. We talked a bit, then she ditched me to see what better guys were there. When she went to the bathroom i sent in my HB friends. It was one for the history books It went something like this: HBF1: did you see jinla here, he's so cute! HBF2: ya, does her have a gf HBF1: I think he's seeing someone, but its not that serious. HBF2: you should got for him HBF1: you think he would go for me. As soon as my target left the bathroom she came directly up to me, sayin she heard my name. She said "its a competition now!" we left to another club together with her friend and my wing. We both f-closed. It was one for the books

Jinla, That's an amazing story and I TOTALLY believe it too, especially after seeing how women in the bars eye me when I'm with my little China girl. I just don't get that "look" from women when I'm with friends or sarging alone. I love taking her to the bars with me. It's just an awesome feeling, like I'm the guy all the women want. Just a 6th sense or something. Hard to describe.
