Post subject:  Standing in Line

Ok, I was standing in line at a Blimpies Resturaunt and this HB7.5 (Kinda had the hot librarian look with glasses and everything) was in front of me, and she kept twirling her hair and kept looking over in my direction (After this, I knew I had to say something... that's like the biggest IOI I could have gotten). I kept trying to think of an opener, but couldn't think of one that fit.
So I waited until she got her sandwich (Cuz if i did it in line I knew we would be interrupted soon), and when she got everything on her sandwich I said "Good Choice" and kinda gave her a smile. And then she said thanks and just walked away (Keep in mind I only had like a 2 minutes to think of something). I know this situation is going to happen again.

So what's a good opener in this situation?

Ask her what she is getting. Ask her what is good. If you don't agree with her opinion then say so and make a point out of why you think so. You can also ask her if she has tried what you are getting. You can neg her a bit by asking the people working there if what she said is good and that you don't know if you can trust her opinion. Then you can say "You know you can tell a lot about a person by what kind of sandwich they get( or by what they get on their sandwich.") It is absurd, I know, but some will laugh because they know it is absurd and others might actually buy it, leaving room for you to cold read.

I can see myself busting out laughing in the middle of trying to do a cold read on a sandwhich.

Yea, the wheat bread tells me your conscious about your health. The lettuce, you enjoy... crunchy stuff. The meat because... you like...penis. The cucumbers/tomato cause you.... *insert me laughing while trying to keep a straight face*

Waiting in line is probably one of the more fertile lands for pick up. You have a bunch of people standing around looking for something to do. Picking up on a girl makes for some good conversation and a great way to pass the time. Very few girls will pass down an opportunity to flirt while waiting i line.
Best openers are cold readings and negs. The compliment-neg routines are my preference (example, thats a nice dress, I'm sure your mom loves it)

I'm goin 2 try and avoid situational openers. I think I'm going to try something similiar to this.
The HB will have a purse with her 99% of the time.

Hey that’s a cool purse. My friend Jessica has a boyfriend who owns a purse kinda like that, and he always drags it along everywhere he goes. It’s not like a satchel, it’s a purse, cuz it only has handles and no strap. What do you think about that?

Situational is seriously the way to go. Cause otherwise you learn all this canned material and then 6 months down the road you meet a HB10 who doesn't fit ANY of those canned lines you have learned and your stuck just like you were then trying to think up a line for 2 minutes while she got away. Learn to think fast and adapt. This will help you in more ways than just opening that are crucial to later things (such as shit tests and ASD and LMR)

Ok, I just tried the purse opener like 10 minutes ago at the same place on an HB8.5 and she was really into it. I was about to run another routine when I had to tell the person what I wanted on my sandwich. So it kinda blew up, and I couldn't reinitiate the chat because she was taking orders for her friends. But next time I do it, I will be like I'm sitting over at that table over there, you should join me.... or something like that.
