I have gone through very many phases, used a lot of canned openers. I have stood in the corner too scared to approach, I have studied bodylanguage. I have also learned all the secrets of opening from all the methods... One way of opening is far better than the rest. It works in daygame, it works in the mall, it works at work, it works in a bar, a club, everywhere... Here goes. A confident smile. It works. It is not about what you say but the feeling you convey. |

I completely agree with this. Before this previous college semester let out, I had to go to the library on campus to do some finishing work for some classes. While walking from the computer lab to the printers I locked eye contact with a girl and flashed a confident smile. She let out a giggle and stopped to talk to me.It works. It is not about what you say but the feeling you convey. Be friendly (eye contact / smile) and portray a good vibe and people may open you. |

It’s totally true, so many people find it difficult though, that’s why it is so effective. I actively try to smile all the time, yes its hard work but it not only makes you feel good it makes you more attractive.

For example yesterday when i was in this huge nightclub with my friends and i was waiting my drink at the bar counter there were two figure skaters standing next to me. When they started to dance with the rythm of the music while waiting their drinks i gave them a glance and smiled. They noticed this and started to ask me questions about whats so funny concerning their dance moves. It was pretty easy to continue from there. [ Johnny B ] |

Smiling almost always does it. The trick is to not be creepy about it though. Breaking the smile to look away (and "get back to your other business") is the kind of timing that could make the difference between hitting it out of the park, or just getting a good Day 1 rapport w/ a hot girl going (which is also good too)!!! Thanks for the input. So many people overlook the most obvious sometimes, so this is definitely the kind of stuff people need to see. |

K-MAC you are missing the point. Any idiot can go around smiling at people. The secret is in the confidence. I am trying to explain that if you are a truly awesome person you have no need for routines and techniques. This is what we eventually will search for, a way to become truly awesome! That is what the true PUA wants. Everything else is just smoke and mirrors. |

Ezo, the smile is absolutely important, and is the goal in the end, the problem is that most are scared shitless, and their confident smiles look like molesters approaching their next victim. The confidence is not just in the smile, it is full body confidence, it is KNOWING you are the shit, this is the natural game and what every PUA aspires to. it has been said so many times, that language only makes up 7 percent, and the rest is body language- but you cannot walk up to a HB10 and just smile, some cunnng lynguistics, Dhv's and a brillian show of inner talent is in order to win her over. As pure and simple as a smile is, yes is is necessary, but what you are actually doing is forcing an IOI, and displaying one of the 36 switches, confidence, maybe sexworthy, but as you know, 65percent is needed for sex. |

That was a long post with very nice words and statistics. All those fancy calculations and ways to break it down to mathematics... Just remember that 99% of all people scoring in this world are AFCs and they have no idea how they do it. Not to forget, girls can smell awesomeness (yes I love that word). So, a better way to get better results is to work with yourself and become the best man you can be. |
