Okay first:
+ This JUST popped into my mind. Needs major adjustments
+ I am a beginning photographer with kickass cam, good lenses and a small studio (well 3 meters wide screen.. so its nice)
+ I did do some amateur photoshoots... became pretty ok actually.
What if I see a mixed set and I walk in. I start talking to the guy... mind he might be one of the 2-3 chicks' boyfriend or brother. If brother I need to win this guy. If boyfriend: eh... bye. Was nice to meet you.
EITHER WAY here's the deal.
I go to the guy.
"Hey guys... Im actually going back to my friends so only wanna talk for a min... but have you ever did a photoshoot or anything?"
"eh yeah/no"
"Ah that's great! I got a studio and I want to gain some more experience. No freaky shit just some cool pics. Thing is... I've done quite some shoots with nice girls but never with guys. And when I start my own business I def need the experience.
You seem like a really cool guy, could almost be one of my friends and since I'll often will work with new people I need to train on working with strangers. So I much more likely would give a free photoshoot to a nice stranger than a random ass. So, u'd be interested?
If they ask why I ask this in a club and not find ppl at the internet I can tell them that in real life it's way easier to check instantly if some-one is nice since you can check on body posture, how a person behaves, if he smiles etc. From that line you could even do some cold reading or a routine like the Cube.
I've made points that are small DHV peaks italic.

This might actually work better as a routine than an opener.
As an opener I could use something like
"Hey guys, I need your opinion on something. When I'd do a photoshoot what is nicer: outside on the beach, in a forrest or in a studio?
Is it for men different than for woman?"
After some questions I could throw it in... I might actually make them bring up the idea to do a photoshoot with me. *and pay for it MUHAHA*.. Then I'm actually picking up, stealing the girl and making him pay for a shoot... if I could just work this one out... ANYWAY it's already sounding better I guess.
Actually..
"Hey, me and my friends where discussing whats better for shoots. bla bla we couldnt agree bla sooo what do you guys think? "
