Great advice Hawk! Opening/approaching in a line can get a little testy BUT COULD be very fun! Lots of people, no privacy, restless from standing so long, etc.

I personally like the Direct approach in these type situations by stating the OBVIOUS and make THAT my opener!

Scene: She is next to me in line...
Me: Hi, I'm Big. Let me ask, how much would you charge me to hold my spot in line for like 6 hrs while I go shower, shave, take a nap, and do all my shopping for the week? I hate lines...! They should have stoplights so it could at least keep moving.
HB: (laughing) I know me too!
Me: Really? You seem pretty comfortable here in the traffic...(smile)
Me: (After she responds with who-cares what..) I'M GONNA GO get us some funnel cakes (or soda or cold ice water--whatever!) to snack on before the ride? Can you hold OUR spot? I'll be right back.
HB: Ummm..okay! (Intrigued by your apparent comfortability with talking to strangers--chicks dig it! )
Me: Great! Be right back! (*note: once she actually says yes, you have to follow thru--dont fake ) But guess what, when you return, she's with YOU now! You return..then open with comfort building questions.
(i.e: Your fav ride?, Why this ride?, Candy apple or Funnel cake? Are you a screamer?, etc.) THEN..you TWO are a "couple" for the day. Lunch, more funnel cakes, convo, ferris wheel talk, and then...the digits and a hook up later!

*Note to newbies: ALWAYS go DIRECT! It's easieer, you you dont have to think too much, and you come off like a student from Mackahoe University! Like a MAN...not a gamer! Pretend you already KNOW her and she will respond..ALWAYS! It does'nt matter where you are, everywhere is a place to meet broads. Girls dont change, just the scene!

I'm going to an amusement park there will lots oh HBs there. i need a good opener. It should be easy to establish contact with them. I just need to know what to say. i will have lots of opportunities while waiting in line, eating and walking through the park. Any advice guys?

You: Excuse me, have you been on any of these rides yet? HB: Why yes, yes I have. You: Which do you recommend? HB: insert ride name here You: What did you like about it? What's it do? Just keep the convo going until you close or even ask what she plans on riding next. You don't need anything especially smooth or witty.

I slightly disagree, the question barrage can work but if your in line or something i'd stay away from anything that can be answered by a few words. Make an open-ended statement/joke. (acting all bored) (look at her) "I hate lines, they're always full of weirdos." (smile, laugh if she laughs, gauge her reaction so you don't become one of the weirdo's)
