PUA Forum :: i just came up with a billiard opener

There is this old pool scam where you lay the stick across the table between the side and corner pockets. You then tell (a girl in this case) I bet you a drink I can roll this cue ball under the stick. Roll the ball and show that it doesn't go underneath the stick. Then when she bets, you just roll the cue ball underneath the table. I think you could use that for this routine, because it's pretty playful and funny.

i just thot of one good routine for a billiard... but u have to learn a trick shot or 2..
go up to some HB and ask her to come to ur table(have ur shot ready)
u:i bet 20 bucks i can make this go here and that go into to that pocket(basically explain wat ur gna do.. and make it look real diffucult)
HB:no
u: well then if i make it will u atleast play a game with me
HB: sure
(shoot and miss)
u:let me try one more time
(set it up again.... if she agrees to let u do it again)
(shoot again and make it)
u: now u have to buy me a drink
HB: i nevr said that

play a game with her and try some negs to get her attrected to u... now do some other routines to get her in bed

the part i like is the 'now u have to buy me a drink part'
it is playful, and if executed right can be innocent yet effective. if you can reorganize this a little differently and incorporate this line, i think you might have a truly effective opener imo.

Hmm, When I play billiard, there are usualy other tables around and people there play, so it's kind of hard to get a HB because she has that other game to continue, oh and usualy there are more guys than girls there but I'll keep this in mind And sorry for opening topic from august

I dont think just any girl is going to come over to your table just by asking her to... you will probably have to open her anyway and after that do you think that the pool table is really necessary? I guess ya never know till you try, great creativity skotch

I think the original open would be difficult to get a HB to come to your table. You originally show no value, there is pretty much no draw for a HB to come to you. However this I think would work. ive never met an HB that really liked to play pool. its kind of a guy thing and then the occasional girl thats REALLY good at it. thats why you dont see a lot of chicks at pool halls/sports bars but if u do happen to meet an hb that likes to play pool, i'd try it and see how it works. in that situation i think its good that you at least open her and say something, because if she agrees to play you, she probably doesnt have anywhere to go and will be more forgiving if u slip up on your game a bit (game as in PUA, not the pool game) pool is also really good for kino if you get to that point. reach ur arms around her, showing her how to make the shot

You could tell an interesting story of how someone bet you that YOU couldn't make a certain shot and then you did. That's the short version, but you could really amp it up and make it look good. Though, I'm not entirely sure how you could bring it up. of course, it's best if you're good at pool and can prove it. I'm decent and can hold my own with most barroom players. But, I wouldn't use a real trick shot as the bet...if you're gonna bet on a pool shot, make it something that has a catch. Rolling the cue ball under the pool stick is definitely good. My personal favorite is taking three balls, (doesn't matter which ones), put two of them side by side on the far rail opposite the cue ball and rest the third on top of those two. Note *it does work to put one on top of those two, it just takes a little patience and a steady hand. Works on most bar tables. And make the bet that you can hit the cue ball and bring the top ball down without hitting the other two. Most will take this bet. I have won many a drink with it. when the money is on the table...gently tap the cue ball with the stick, and hit the pool table with your fist, the top ball will drop right down.

Opening at a pool table is easy. When her pool game is almost over go up to her and ask her if she wants to play doubles? Make the teams you and her and her and your friend. This way you can work as a team and get to know each other. I have done this many times and it has worked out great.

It's always been my opinion that when it comes to pool halls, you go home with whoever you brought, you don't go there to sarge. Like DTM says, its primarily a guy's interest. If you do happen to run into an HB then tricks can be impressive, but your attempting to demonstrate value based on something she doesn't actually care about. Hobbit's approach demonstrates humor and wit, which goes further then the pool hall. I think I might try that out next time.

in pool halls, yes... any girls are almost always with bfs but i don't know about where you are but in my city there are several bars that also have a few pool tables, so in that dynamic things like this can work as girls may just be hanging around nearby the tables.

Next, "well then if i make it will u atleast play a game with me " Will you AT LEAST PLAY A GAME WITH ME? PLEASE?!?! I BEG OF YOU. Do you guys not see anything wrong with this? Again, needy as fuck, DLV. Lastly, "i kno but i thot i should atleast try " Seems like you wanted to fool her into buying you a drink, you thought you should at least try to get a drink from her, after failing to do everything you said you'd do, whilst begging for her acceptance?......... This whole routine is fundamentally flawed, IMO.
