Peacocking and looking gay for sure is better.
I dress pretty eccentric. My favorite opener in the world is "Does this outfit make me look gay?". It has failed maybe 5% of the time, but you get alot of attention and women will touch you and look you up/down if they are interested.
Easier judge of IOI's in my opinion. Just learn how to deal with AMOG's because they will probably call you out on it.
I sometimes just joke with them and say I wore it because I knew it would impress him, etc. I have gotten one believing he was gay before - it was epic. He was at least playing along with the joke and his value went through the floor after the girls made fun of him too....good times.
I've been looking for something relatively "different" to wear jewellery wise, and considering the price of some of the stuff for sale in my local area, coupled with the bland designs and the fact that everyone else wears them, it's pretty damn hard to find something as unique (and affordable 
) as those!
