Hey guys I have tried this opener once at a bar and it worked great, but I want to see what you all think about it and if it has weaknesses to it. Me: (Go up to the bar and stand near a two set) I lean towards the girl to the left of me and tell her "I will buy you a drink if you guess what country I am from?! (I am from Belarus by the way)" HB: (laughing) hmmmm... blah blah blah The conversation starts and she completely forgets about the question.... Even though I didn't go anywhere with this, the question broke the ice and any awkwardness of the situation The Underdog |
