HOW did you ask the question? When using openers, you have to have some sort of energy about you. There's a diference between: "ummm... hi... can I... umm... ask you like... a... question?" And: "HEY. Can I ask you a question?" Not saying that you did the first example, but if you're going to approach a set, you want to be more direct and "forceful" with your opener. And well... hey - sometimes sets are full of frigid bitches!

Xfman is right. Don't give them the option of saying know. If you jump right into the opener and it is interesting enough, they will become receptive.

You can use it when you open any set, even if they are not stone cold bitches...LOL. I had to make my self stop asking them if I could ask a question or saying excuse me or sorry to interrupt. Just make the statement. I also think a good shut down to the cold "NO...bye" statement would have been to tell them "you are not near as tough or cute as you think you are, it was nice meeting you." Say it with a confident smirk. Thats what I would have said just becuase you get the confident last word. I heard a audio interview with one of David D's PUAs and he uses what is called sinking with resistance. When he opens a set and gets that cock block from one of the girls he responds with "Thats awesome I am the cock block for all my friends to". You may have to calibrate it for different sets but still the same affect.

Right on! Also body language and delivery have a ton to do with it. I use the same lines and if im not feeling it for some reason there not feeling it. Open from the side then turn in, give time constraint (not just "quick question"), and like stated above just state the question.

I would do a good humored neg on both of them and walk of smiling.... I would say: "Looks like you got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." then I'd look at the other one smile and say, "And I bet you were you with her?" pause.... Totally agree with above info - but remeber - some chicks are just fucking biatchs!! and you have done nothign wrong... some girls may have been hassled all night and just want time by themselves - and are sick of people trying to talk to them (they shoulda just stayed home if this is the case!!) or your approach may be blatantly obvious you were using a line by neglecting what others have already touched on. Also, ask yourself why you give a fuck. Just some dumb bitch that doesnt deserve to get hit on in any case. I think you have to develop that attitude where your above that. Yeah, I agree with the above statements alot of my homeboyz including myself wont approach groups because of the one potential cockblocker which is always the fat one.
