Post subject:  Opening to a Customer

I work in a venue that does weddings, corporate and celebrity events.
Our customers are mainly upper class with a lot of money.
I waiter parttime - im only 19 - what is the best way to open to a guest?

I work at a grocery store and have opened a few sets. I mean it depends on how stressful your work enviorment is, but I just approach everything the same.

Jobs that force you to interact with people are good because it forces you to improve in the way you talk to people not just hott girls.

If you get a table with pretty girl(s):

"Aw you guys are cute"

"blah, blah, thanks"

"I almost never get a table with a pretty girl, for some reason I usually get old people, A lot of the other employees tell me that I should consider myself lucky though."

"Why?"

"Most of the guys say that pretty, rich girls such as yourself make for rude customers. I don't blame the girls though, must of the guys tolerate it just because they're pretty. If you don't expect respect from everyone, gorgeous or not, people won't feel the need to give it. It's natural cause and effect." "You guys seem pretty cool so far though"

"Thanks"

"No thank you for thanking me."

If she says "your funny" just say " Na I'm just me and you love it."

Stick out your hand. Say your name. Tell them you'd like to make friends because you don't know anyone else. Vibe with her.
