This question has been bothering me for a long time. Ok, you open a girl with a false time constraint, and you transition. During your conversation, what happens if a girl or someone else in the set questions your time constraint? Such as, "Aren't you supposed to be back with your friends?" or "Where are your friends?". What do you say to that? |

Great Question.First of all you have to recognize this for what it is, this is a shit test. You know that the purpose of a False Time Constraint (FTC) is so that they aren't wondering when this opener is going to end. Typically if the set is interested its not an issue. This shit test can be brought on by a variety of factors. Mostly when I see students getting this its because they didn't engage the other friends in the set as they should have and they are giving too much attention to the target. If you aren't giving more time to the obstacle than the target then you need to correct that first. Still, like with most shit test we can Pass IT, Ignore It, or Fail It. Basically, with something like this you can't let it phase you. You have to handle it quickly and keep going. Here's some coversational example. PUA: Stacking routine....etc talking talking etc HB: Don't you have to get back to your friends. PUA: I sure do in a minute. As I was saying before I was interupted.....continue.... OR PUA: Stacking routine etc talking talking etc HB: Where are you friends? PUA: They were last over there...(point)...Anyways, as I was saying before I was interrupted...... You just can't let it phase you. They are doing this to gain control of the conversation and test you. Don't let them win this easily. |

Wow JSmooth you are really smooth. and just think if the girl wanted you there then they wouldn't say anything. Like if you friend was hanging out with you for about 5 mins and had too leave wouldn't you want him too forget about it and be with you? Well same thing with girls. If you are doing a 3+ set then you have too worry ab out amusing all the girls at the same time |

Very good advice. I particularly like the response with the interruption neg. If there's not already a sticky about shit tests and ways to pass in the other forums there should be, that's an important subject that I still sometimes struggle with. Breaker |
