hey guys! this is my first post so be nice lol! i still have my fear of approach but im working on it everyday and i have found that music helps me build my conifidence right before an approach. Even getting a song stuck in my head before i go out sarging makes a big impact on my level of confidence. all you have to do is find a song that makes you feel confident and powerful basically anything that gets you in the right frame of mind. my wing Sly22 and i usually pump Green Onions by Booker T and the MG's before we hit the streets so check out the song if you have never heard it (perfect pre-game warm up song in my opion), or find one of your own but try it out and tell me what you think. |

I agree it would help. But not because it is a specific type of tune. Just because it takes your mind off what you are about to do. Do anything before you go sarging to distract your mind and you will feel more confident because you haven't given yourself time to over analyse. |

Definitely Getta few good songs going before you go out. When I hit the scene I seem to have great presence after listening to music. Find something loud and wild that you can sing along too. This technique is great for getting yourself stifled. I like to listen to at least a Metal Song for Voice Stifling A Smooth Rap song for Body Language and then a Softer But still fast rock song for Voice Control/tonality. Note: I am also a singer by hobby so Music gets me pumped in general. But yeah I would definitely recommend this technique.[/i] |

you can even use it in your set when you have nothing to talk about or to just add anouther string. Something like ey I heard this song on the radio/tv and have it in my head driving me crazy, goes something like this ..blabla... do you know what that song is called? |

I find that as well. Using music makes it SOO much easier because you feel like king of the world. I personally use the Pulp Fiction theme song because its like a beachy pimpin tune. other good ones are... Make it rain- Fat Joe and Lil Wayne Mr. Carter- Lil Wayne and... Some Chris Brown Those get me in the mood for women and that sort of thing |

Breaking BEnjamin, baby. Breath, polyamorous, Blow Me Away. And a girly osng that puts me in a good mood is So Young (The Corrs), and "Don't sotp the music" (Rihanna)... I swear, it's an awesome thing in the right circumstance. Singing "I wanna take you away... please don't stop the music, music... " to a girl, looking into her eyes |
