What's the best way to respond to a chick if she says "hey you look like Jude Law" or someone famous and good looking? I think it is a compliment, but I find it tough to really take it anywhere. What do you think? I often just say... "hang on babe, don't you mean he looks like me." or "yeh I know, we're half brothers" Any ideas on what to reply with, especially if she a HB. Because I think once a good reply is made to that it is then easy to start running game. |

REPLY, Confident with solid eye contact. "No I don't, you're just attracted to me." & or someone famous and good looking? I think it is a compliment, but I find it tough to really take it anywhere. On a similar, but different note, what do you say when someone says you sometimes act like and have the mannerisms of Jack Sparrow? I... may have a problem with watching that trilogy too much. |

If a girl takes the time, effort, and courage to come over to say damn near anything to you they are attracted to you on some level. Call them out on this It's like me walking in a club and going straight after the hottest set in the bar. I could use an opinion opener, where the bathroom is, or anything, it doesn't matter. My actions demonstrate my intentions, that I'm hitting on them. That's why we work the entire room and talk to "everyone" so that when we talk to them they can't call us out on hitting on them. We're talking to everyone! |

Well, yes, I know that one, which works great when it's a chick. I mean in general when people I'm hanging out with say it, men or women, HBs or friends. I have a lot of people say it. |

Umm well I told someone once that he looked like Christian Bale and he was like, "Hey, thanks, that's really cool!" Not very alpha I guess but generally if you say that to someone then you're already hitting on him so he can hardly say anything wrong in reply. On the flipside when people tell me I look like J-Lo I generally roll my eyes and say, "Oh my God, yeah I know, it's 'cause of my butt," and that never goes down too well. |

Although I havent really been told that I look like anybody I often do get told that I sound like seth from superbad. I just respond with "Yea. It was a pain in my ass. They followed me around for like six months just to get my entire speech pattern and slang down. I got paid pretty well for it." Suave Suave's Dating Success http://puadaily.blogspot.com |

Hey J Smooth, I've been searching the forum for flaker advice. And I see you've written some good stuff. What's your opinion on this? I meet a girl fri night, talk for a long time, have a number of things in common, pretty good convo for like 1.5hrs at least. Hard to kino escalate cause she we were sitting in between her friends. They leave, I walk her out, she steps up one step so she is taller than me now, kiss on the check good bye, we look again at each other, then we kiss on the lips goodbye again. They leave I turned around and gave her a wave goodbye. So we talked about getting dinner at this spanish place on thursday and when she left I said, I'll call you on Mon. She was like sounds good. So sun night (while she was at work) I decided to txt her so she'd have my number. "Hey HB9, how yo been? Hope you've had a great weekend and haven't had to work too hard... ;-p you know with that bit of drama in the cricket there.. lol I'll callyou tomoro night so we can organise a time for thurs. x Chad" she is a sports report (hence the cricket remark) So no reply... cool, she said she finish late. So I call on the next night, Mon (a bit late) 9pm and no answer (from what I remembered she said monday she was off). No return phone call today either.... Can't understand cause we had good connection when we meet and multiple things in common. What would be the next step to meeting up with her, other than be a bit more patient which I sometimes don't like being. Your help is appreciated! Another call? Freeze out and try in a week and a half or so? Send a funny txt? (remind her of date we organized?) ??? |

imo chad when you left her fri night you should have just left it at ill call you. telling her that your going to call her monday dosent leave her wondering if/when you will call. the second thing that went wrong was you texted her the night before reminding her that your calling. by you doing that it gives me the feeling that your chaseing her. which im sure she feels too and its probly turned her off a bit. under the routines portion of this site theres alot of good text openers that dont do this you send:Stop she sends back: stop you: stop thinking about me and smileing! or you send: made you look those are a few good ones to use, and there alot more on this site. i'm not sure exactly the best way to go about correcting this, but i would start some text game with her a bit and then on wed or thurs tell her to come out with you and have an adventure. |

Yeh I see what your saying and it does make sense. I figured though things went so well that there wasn't going to be any game playing... It's wed here now and I was thinking of trying one more time today and if no answer just send a funny msg. Or alternatively just leave and try her again later next week? But your right, gotta keep it a bit mysterious. She didn't have voice mail so I can't even be sure it was 100% the right number. |

| Post subject: | What if you look like Peter Kay? |
I look like the British comedian Peter Kay. (you'll have to google him if youre not in the Uk) He is very famous over here. when i go out to bar and clubs, people say it to me at least 2-3 times a night, male and female. The thing is: is he attractive to women that much?....looking like Jude law etc must be a gift! Is it worth exploiting my lookalikeness at all?...I tent to get a bit embarssed when people say it to me. |
