Post subject:  Help with gym approach

So there's this HB10 at my gym. I've seen her twice now and had major approach anxiety both times. I didn't stare at her like a moron, but I saw her in the mirrors and thought, I should go talk to her. but thats all it was... a thought... I normally don't have a problem approaching at bars and clubs because the liquid courage is in full effect!
She wears an ipod and seems to work out very hard and focused. I've only seen two guys approach her and they each spoke to her for about 15 seconds before walking away. Not sure what she told hem, but she was obviously not interested. Because there are so many mirrors I've caught her looking at me a couple times, but still trying to break through my day game approach anxiety, HELP!
Any ideas on some openers for HB10 at the gym?

Right, here's my two cents.

Don't bother trying to open her while IN the gym.
You said it yourself, you've already witnessed two guys try and fail, so this isn't an uncommon thing to her. If she's too focused on working out to pay attention to anything other than how many miles she's ran or what song is playing on the iPod, then a guy walking up to her while she's occupied won't go down too well.
And really, how great are you at holding conversations with strangers while bench-pressing huh? Not too great when you're too busy feeling the burn hmm?

If she's regularly at the gym like you are, then there's something to work on. You see each other a few days out of the week, so there's common ground already. The best thing is to try and catch her after both your workouts are complete. I don't mean stalk her or anything, but if you know when she turns up, then it's likely she's a creature of habit and would at least stick to her routine somewhat.
If you finish when she does, then you can try for an opening when you both step outside of the gym to go your separate ways.
Everybody needs rehydration after a workout, so why not start something and invite her for a drink. Not the most original, I know, but make the idea yours and put that unique spin on it.
