Hi all, I went sarging last weekend. I have good enough skills such that I can find a girl who digs me every once in awhile, but i'm not quite at the point of having the capability to handle everything that comes my way which leads to my not clicking into the set without akwardness or just a plain negative vibe alot of the time. I worked my way into my last set, but either didn't feel comfortable or got blown out of the other 6 sets or so I opened that night. Whats worse is that I had a friend there with me who got to see me get blown out! I kinda don't want to go out because, plainly said, I'm WORRIED about getting blown off again. How do I recover after this? Help! |

The only remedy is to go out and keep trying. The more you fail the sooner you realize that it wont kill you. The more you succeed, well you get the idea. My point is that there are 6 billion people on this planet, at least half are women. Why worry if a few dont like you. Its their loss. |

I believe it's best not to go out with the attitude "I'm gonna be accepted in every set". But it's better to go out with the attitude "I'm gonna give these strangers the option to say no". In this way, your mind set gives you control and your not so shocked when you receive a couple rejections. |

Like MJ said I can accept failure but I can not accept not trying. Each time you fail you are gaining feedback. I look at Failure=Feedback. Everyone says you only have one life to live and how do you want to live that life? |
