Mehow-Type vs. Mystery-Type Openers

Post subject:  Mehow-Type vs. Mystery-Type Openers
I was looking into openers and Mehow and Mystery teach two different things. Mehow teaches to open with giving value to the girl by saying something like, "You guys seem really fun, I just wanted to say hi." Mystery, though, teaches to open with an opinion opener. I was wondering if anyone here prefers one type over the other or feels one is more successful than the other.

I've had a lot of success with the opinion openers.
I am definitely not a big fan of the giving value immediately to girls, because I think it gives them the option to blow you out right away. With the opinion opener, if done correctly, you don't convey interest and hold the power. When you compliment a girl, you hand away your power.

Always be aware of who has the upperhand.

Well, this is going to be a biased answer because I go with what Mystery says 99 out of 100 times. But there in lies the answer to the question. Id say that most of the time opinion openers are better than giving value to a group that your walking into. The only time I would walk into a group and give them value right off the bat is if my value is already higher than theirs. If you walk into a group and tell them right off the bat that they have value, you might just as well say... when i grow up i want to be just like you...lol

i think that your frame has to be so strong - and clear to be garunteed a successful opener with a compliment. mysterys method is more backdoor. im with mystery.

I also prefere indirect openers (not Mystery's) but sometimes, specialy when i have a Real Time Contraint I like to be direct like "I find you so cute that I couldn't come here and say hi, but i have to go back to work now because my lunch break is over ... give me your number and we can talk more later".

mehow's openers do work, if done correctly. if you've seen mehow, you'll see that he almost looks gay when he's in sets - i've actually seen a few videos where girls ask him whether he's gay!
i've tried his techniques but gave up half way through his "get the girl" ebook... mystery method with c&f suits me much more.

Yea id say its definately the gay vibe that he gives off which provides mehow with a kind of automatic disqualification. If you don't have this then you will come off as just another guy trying to game them, and having showed no value of your own, unless your frame is imaculate u will be blown out. It works for mehow, but i would never use a direct opener on more than a one-set.
