Post subject:  follow ups!!!

i have a simple question that was never understood to me when i looked at pick ups and when i've read about openers.

how do i follow up?
after i open a set with an opener, any opener;either an opener that makes them laugh, either an opener that makes them exited,or one that makes them interested... what should i do? how do i follow up?where should i move the conversation to???

i know what not to do; not to ask to a phone no'(right away),not give her your name(right away)...but what should i do??

for example,if i open with the classic, neat, mystery made, opener: "girls fighting out side" .when talking about this fight is becoming boring, lame, and has nothing to add on to(after not more then one minute...)
how should i move on ,how do i follow up with this opener?

help me guys, this is one of the things i dont understand the most!

hey man

try the old 'you guys look like twins/triplets (if shes with friends)' line and ask them how long and how do they know each other. this should get them talkin a bit

after this you could possibly share a story about one of ur close friends

you could be like 'yeah ive got a friend like this also were almost like twins ive known him for 20 years' or w/e

then from this you should hear some keywords that they have said and build the conversation from there, but if there are silences and you cant think of anything to say dont leave it too long dont b afraid to ask the usual 'where are you guys from?' or something

hope that helped

i understand how pua works... but like topaz said

i have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM

i open with a quirky opener i usally make up on the spot, could be any thing, then they all seem for chatting, and ALL OF A SUDDEN CONVO GOES DRY, i cant seem to move it any where, and by this time she has seen my inner wuss, and the game is over before it begain.. so if any more tips drop em in!

thanks

Manic.

A lot of people develop this problem and it is because they lack the natural conversational skills mainly because they have had little to no experience with talking to women or anyone in general. To overcome this there is only one way and that is simply by constantly putting yourself into numerous conversations each day. Overtime you will develop a way to build other topics out of key words that are said. Also I would suggest stacking which involves using many openers one after another changing the topic. Because the way i see it is that it is better to have something random to talk about than to just stay there being like "oh yea, sooo how are you, wuts going on" these are the weird parts that freeze people up and eventually lose the whole set.

theres literally everything in pickup to say after the opener. say you start with a situational opener. whats wrong with using another opener as a follow up. use an opinion opener as a follow up. multiple thread in your first opner - that way there will be no dry conversation points. think about how much you know about the girl. not much if its a cold approach. that means you have LOADS to find out. handwriting analagy, palm reading, kino routines, canned dhv routines - ALL OF YOUR MATERIAL is waiting to be used! if you blank - just say hey lets go make some friends. and ''let'' her link your arm.

My way of following up is to transition from one topic to another one. You can just ask something random, something you notice that can get her to laugh or to make her realise something.

Personally, it's like dancing. You have to transition one move to the next.

i am totaly new to PUA, so i may be wrong, but after getting the target attention shouldn't i start to DHV and wait for IOIs?

i think others openers can be used to multithread the conversatio and avoid blanks, but the goal is to get IOIs isn't it?

Well if it was me I would use my enviroment as an advantage, If your there with a wingman then offer to introduce them to this cool person you know or if you have already previously opened a set bring the set together. Remember the more you move them around in the envirmoment the more memorys they have in different places, Plus my own little thing that I do is pay close attention to what they say and see if you can single out something that may have sounded dirty or maybe kinda funny and call them on it. If you fail then oh well remember "ITS NO BIG DEAL" dont let it bother u. I myself try to stay away from lines and setup phrases because 9 times out of ten they have heard it before or you will come off looking robetic besides when it all comes down to it its all based off of attitude.
